In the past most banners have been related to the upcoming updates of the month. This is almost definitely related and should be discussed. :wall:

I still think that that's Zemouregal. Lucien is a very weak Mahjarrat, and Zem said he wanted to kill Lucien for the staff, right? Lucien also has a much lighter build, and considering how he wears a hood all the time, I'm not entirely convinced that he's tried to fit in that well...

 

 

 

I'd also like to point something out (AGAIN). The Stealing Creation mystics are using the Sacred Clay to give life back to the Revanents. If you talk to the Head Mystic, he tells that the Revanents showed them the clay, and they are giving them bodies. The Revanents (who live in the north btw..) are soldiers that were slain during the GodWars. This is suggesting a second God Wars, also suggesting that Zamorak and Saradomin have done something to avoid Guthix's wrath. Also if you think about it, giving life back to revanent dragons could suggest something about the Dragonkin, who became extinct(?) during the third(?) age.

 

You don't need anything to talk to the Head Mystic about this.

That would be Lucien. By the way, you didn't kill him, he's immortal. And yes, many people think it's Lucien, but some also think it's Zemouregal, seen in Defender of Varrock.

We can't really say for sure which Mahjarrat it is, it may not be possible for all of them, but they can shapeshift.

 

 

 

We also can't say Lucien is weak since he is meant to be one of the greatest mahjarrat in the use of magic and if he does have the staff of Armadyl then there's a good chance that will only amplify his power.

Jagex should make a competition, where you sent in a banner that you want to be on the RS main site. Then Jagex picked the best one and posted it there, with the name of the player on it. That would be really cool. Perhaps they could change the banner once a month?

The background resembles parts of the underground passage - the entrance to the area with the soulless, and the entrance to ibans temple.

I havn't been to dragon forge yet but is the background dragon forge??...

 

Anyway that staff is staff of armadyl and that skull thing is a mahjarat and is either lucien or zuemerguel or maybe there is hundred of mahjarat just waiting behind a locked door waiting to be unlocked by the staff (*cough* mith door *cough*).

If that is indeed the the staff of armadyl, then the person has to be Lucien. Either you gave Lucien the staff, or if you helped the Armadyl guardians you got a message saying that Lucien had obtained it. Either way unless Lucien gave the staff to Zemouregal in the time from the messenger giving you the communique and the new quest that Mahjarrat is Lucien

I myself cannot wait for the quest to come out but in the same sense I KNOW it will mean I have some training to do to meet the requirements. I smell a 70 agility (god, it pains me to even say it) requirement for this one. :wall:

Thats where our November quest will join things. Specialists and concerned dignitaries will be gathered to discuss the whereabouts of the Staff of Armadyl, an ancient and powerful artefact from RuneScapes distant past.

 

 

 

Well we know from quest story lines and the Armadyl messenger that Lucien the Mahjarrat has the staff of Armadyl

You can see the green gems on the display case staff and the staff wielded by Lucien.

 

We also know that all the Mahjarrat are shape shifter but there true form seems to be a skull.

 

 

 

So all speculation in the thread is very firmly based in quest knowledge and BTS hints
