are clues worth doing?

im talking about the level 3s here. ive done only 2 clues in my runescape life and i ended up with crappy awards. i mean it takes about 30-45 minutes do to a clue and all you get from the rewards is like 50k gp. wouldnt you rather do other things instead of wasting time on this clue?

 

 

 

so id like to know if clues are really worth doing. my friends just tell me not to even bother picking up clues cause' theyre a waste of time. what's the chance of getting something good, like 3rd age or w/e?

 

 

 

i'd like to hear some opinions on this .

A lot of people will tell you they arent anymore but Ive done so many that theyre pretty fast to do now.

 

 

 

If youre going to keep doing them then you should, but dont do a few then expect something expensive.

I find that they are worth doing, you never know when you're going to get a 3rd age item, or some firelighters instead :lol:

 

 

 

My first clue was a lvl 2 one and i got wizard boots, i got so happy \

if it takes you that long to finish the clue then it's probably not worth doing them

 

 

 

when you get reasonably good doing the clues it'll take around 12-15 mins to finish.

Level 3s are always worth doing. I get a decent TT item around 1/10 clues.

2 & 3's are the only ones worth doing tbh.

I never do level 1 and 2, level 3's are worth doing, however you won't get a 3rd age piece thath often.

In my opinion clues are very exciting. Just thinking about what I could get drives me onward to complete the clue. Level 3's are surely worth doing, and levels 2's, ...maybe. A while back i got level 1 clues, and twice in a row my reward was flared trousers. Loved clues ever since.

Only do 2s and 3s. Level 1s are pointless now, after the update with the canes god pages are very hard to get. Before that update, you could get god pages very fast by doing level 1s (3 pages in a clue anyone? \ ). Level 2s can give animal masks, and 3s can give a lot of valuable items. Just do the clues; you'll never know what you'll get.

Essentially the same thing. I do my clues because I like the chance and hope that I will get something decent.

Clues were one of my favorite parts of runescape. Sometimes its not even about whether it's "worth" doing. Do clues if you have fun doing them. I loved picking up that level 3 clue and completing it. Sometimes the reward was dumb but still. I got a black beret once and it looked so cool. And I also got a black cav which I wore for like a year.

I never do clues. I simply find them to annoying to be bothered with, and I get stuck on every sliding puzzle. Still, if you like clues and are generally a lucky person, do it. If you are like me, drop 'em. :thumbsup:

i was in the same boat, i did like 15 level 2 clues and must have lost like 100k through runes and items lol! but yeh now i only do level 3 clues which i normally get from iron drags!

I do them as a distraction in between grinding. After killing 200 of some monster, it's nice to run around the world getting a clue done before settling in for a couple hours of skill grinding.
