Yes, Maisie seems to be correct in this area, as there is only a limited amount of slayers who want the sgs, compared to the real pkers who lose AGS's everyday, lowering the amount of AGS's in the game as compared to the SGS's.

#1 Ags's are controlled by merchants atm

 

#2 Anyone who AGS pks protects item and I'd imagine are smart enough not to let their prayer drop.

 

#3 Look at the pictures thread theres tons of "Woot I just bought SGS" pictures so obviously alot of people buy them.

Still, at times, players do lose their AGS's due to their lack of brains...

 

 

 

Away from that point, I never said anything against your point of people buying them, I have seen all of the pictures of the purchases, but I only saw around 4, including those 4, this doesn't mean a massive increase of people buying them...Once they have bought the SGS, they aren't going to buy them again... AGS's on the other hand...

i saw ags rising so i bought 3 at med price sold them on next day 500k junk with em (willow bows) so it was basicaly free money. then they dropped and i had bought sgs for slayer.

 

 

 

but there wasnt any on the market so i spent ages in world 2 buying one, i finaly got mine for 38.2 and med price was 37.9 at the time so only 300k over and it was bought off the ge for cash. It might just be a simple case of poeple wanting sgs ,there was not many for sale at that time, then when they rise people hold onto them hoping to make a nice profit and its risen since eithery way it will make up for the 60m i lost on my red in a month dam game.

Even if they lose their AGSes in PVP, their opponents get them. It's like saying old style pking drove whips up - even if someone lost theirs, their opponent would pick it up and sell it. And SGS is far better then ags for non-dangerous PVP like clan wars and fight pits. I use it all the time there.

I don't do pvp but as far as I know In pvp worlds you don't get their equipment you get the random rewards jagex decides on.
