999134
well heres some impossible things to think about how can you wear a cape of lava? you can send a cannon through the exchange system instantly and pick it up on the lunar isles you don't get frostbite in the freezing cold while wearing dwarf clothing when you die you respawn?! you have to take many shots with a bow to kill someone, in practise a lv1 ranger shooting an arrow a you unarmed would kill or at least disable you (but that wouldnt be much of a fun game as whoever shot first would win) a tree can grow overnight?! and you can mix all the ingredients of a potion into a small vial, the size of the vial isnt the problem, how you fit a jug of wine or a whole cockatrice egg bigger than the vial into it without grinding it down! Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
legilgalad2
When I first read the title I thought it was going to be like the 'How long is a piece of string' riddle. Anyway supose I should put in a constructive comment now, I'm going to say 100ml. P.S. Maybe we should organise a raffle on it? 'guess the volume?' ;) Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.
Omar
It must be kind of like drinking concentrated juice without adding water I guess. But then again vials are around the size of your head when you're doing herblore. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? War_Junky_91
Wow how many lame threads can there get on this website >.< Discussion for the sake of discussion does not lead to valuable forum content. It's people like you that ruined my Orgin of Charms thread. There is more to a game than just what is there, some people like to know more. Don't stereotype me. People are creating threads for the sake of creating threads these days. Who cares if how big a vial is in real life because it isn't real life it's a game and therefore doesn't bare an exact resemblance on real life. Rules of phisics etc do not apply in a virtual world. As someone said, how would you fit 28 sharks into your backback or 28 armadyl godswords... it's a game do something else with your time. You just proved my point with your second sentence. People just like you were in my Orgin of Charms thread. Do something else with my time, like what? Read a book and wonder something about that book? But oh my it doesn't matter because its not real. I hate provincial people like you. Back on topic: Judging from the ratio from the pic of the wielded vile i would say it is a 1 liter erlenmyer flask. So its 250 ml a dose, which is easily swallowed in two or three gulps.

As someone said, how would you fit 28 sharks into your backback or 28 armadyl godswords... it's a game do something else with your time. Well, don't you play runescape? Go do something else with your time -.- Pah arrogancy these days #-oIt's not a patch on the arrogance we used to get in MY day... Vials in Runescape are freakishly large. Large enough, in fact, that they are no longer vials. And, as the picture shows, they're about half as large as our heads. Now can we answer why it is possible to eat an undefined number of sharks, at least larger than your arm, one after another without exploding? If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

ghoulmeister
Also, phial. a small container, as of glass, for holding liquids: a vial of rare perfume; a vial of medicine. Its small, thats all we know, no evidence or proof saying any exact size. Well one way theoretically would be to see how much it weighs in rs and calculate that based on the mass/cm^2 in a standard vial irl. It's 1g H20 = 1ml, so all we need is the weight of an empty and full vial of water, subtract and divide and we have the volume, but the problem is they have no weight. Vials don't follow the laws of physics though. A vial filled with water has the same content mass as an unused potion, so you can't use a real physics formula to solve for the size. I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-) Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?

Randox
Well in all relaity the "vials" in runescape are more shaped like erlenmeyer flasks. Average size being 250ml. But even with that there are large ones, i have personaly used a 4 liter one. I agree with this. The 'vials' are deffinatly the shape of an erlenmeyer flask. They should really be called potion flasks.
00hydro
I'd say they're a bit larger than a dharok's platebody, using the inventory screen for my scale.
Tom_Bakkie
I think the person who said 1 liter for 1 vial is pretty right. Because when you drink a dose of potion, it's like *gulp gulp gulp* and as 4 doses fit into 1 vial, that'd be 250 ml a dose, which is easy to drink in 3 gulps. So yeah, I think 1 liter could be pretty right (also looking at the size of those vials) dragon drops: 2h, Med (x4), spear (x3), legs (x3), skirt, left halfbarrow drops: 45+ GWD drops: 1x steam, 1x bandos plate, 1x tasset, 4x shardproud owner of the Quest Cape since March 28th 2008 - [554/555 songs unlocked]99 cooking on April 5th 200899 magic on June 29th 2008 Dog to 100% (full grown) at 2nd day of Summoning! :)
