I would like some new monsters to try out and make some money while continuing on my path to 99 strength (95 atm) (No Slayer Pleaaaaaase) And prefer no bosses as i can't be bothered right at the moment but can say which ones to go for, still haven't done ANY bosses, I just usally do pvp an that. When you say a monster, could you also put rough XP rate an money per hour. I did ankous at a lower lvl, that was ok money. Done dusties for charms an found a pretty chain on the floor in less than 1k kills, an only been back once an got 450 charms, so I will have to go back for more to finish of getting 68 summoning. Dusties seem alot better because I get smacked at Waterfiends lol. Anyway, Cockroaches own ankous alot now. They drop many crimsons also, if you want some of those. Powertraining is pointless, but people mostly powertrain strength at yaks. If you really must ignore that terrific money earner, kill Green Dragons in the caves. The money is simply terrific, and they die very easily for big scary looking things. But once again, ya don't get a chance to talk to people much because ya for ever running in, an back out lol. With them, do you need to just run up to where they monkeys start shooting you an get put in the jail, then sneak around like you do in the quest to get to them? What's the method for these. I got from 96-97 and 98-99 defence there actually. I may go back for attack too. Not sure yet though. Decent exp and decent money. Every now and again you get a clue to break the monotony of camping a monster. Also getting alchable drops + a lot of runes is a good sight as well. I wouldn't suggest slayer to you anyway my friend. Not because you didn't ask but because slayer is simply pointless (unless you want total levels) I had my eyes opened up to it recently and 30k exp/hour mixed with 80k (unless you're lucky with drops) gp/hour just doesn't sound desireable anymore. At 85 slayer I will probably never train it again. So my personal suggestion to your question is Fire Giants, WITH guthans. (Don't forget your alch runes, and keep that quiver empty for rune arrow drops) Also, what are the; I think they're called 'Zombie Monkeys' like for xp an hour? Zombie monkeys are something like 80k exp/hour+ with a good familiar and near maxed melee, someone was getting near 100k exp/hour. Not bad. The best way to get there is to tele to Ape Atoll, then run down there (as a monkey) then get into the spot and then become human again. Zombie monkey will COST you money. If you like the benefits of the monkeys you may like "Armoured Zombies", there is a guide around the forums somewhere. Salve ammy (E) for 20% bonus to undeads plus piety (very near an altar) and also get a fair amount of drops. 70-75k xp per hour should be no problem to achieve. epicnuts Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 do spirit of summer and go to the portal in the axe hut -> ghostly warriors, they drop a lot of runes, wich stack up, they don't hit, they're undead (salve ammy plox?), they drop a lot of steel stuff = alching, i believe they're 60k xp/hr when using salve (e) and around 200k geepees per hour! go there!
