Jimmyw3000
Well I never see any skilling clan posts in the clan discussion forums so I was wondering where they all went... We all know they exist, and that they have I'm a member of a skilling clan, and I have many friends in many others, but I've never seen a skilling clan post anything about one of their events...mainly because there isnt a place to put them... Most discussions revolve around wars etc. and hardly anything skill related. I feel that all the communities of clans that revolve around skilling and fun are being left out tbh. anywayss...that's my view.
obfuscator
There have been some discussions on this issue, but I think that warring clans, being more competitive, have more to talk about. Feel free to post about skilling clan related issues though. ;) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Laikrob
Skilling clans are just as welcome to post as other clans, so feel free to make topics that are directed especially at skilling clans or cover all types of clans. We try to make some TOTW general enough to give everyone a chance to reply, that includes monster hunting, skilling and community clans. You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

The only reason why you don't see a lot is because no one decides to post them. ;) I might post a thread or two on skilling matters...
The_Maddest
It's because things like PvP worlds have more discussion value than things like a new yew tree in varrok. If you want to see a topic about skilling clans, make one. We won't flame, promise

Kaphias
Why post? We'd either get ignored or flamed, possibly both. Maybe eventually we'll have a placer where we can hang out without the interruption of other types of clans... I don't see that happening here, maybe a bunch of we leaders should get together and figure something out? 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009
Laikrob
TSG had a skill war with another skill clan once. No, we didn't. Several other skilling clans have skill wars, though. Still hoping to have someone accept a Slaying war against us someday, but so far no luck. :) You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. red_Fat1
Skilling clan's are overlooked because skilling clans's aren't active enough in clan community because warring clans are more dominant. I feel that tip it would welcome skilling clans more than other fansites such as rsc etc. Better to get involved early before floods of clans come. Sanctus_Petrus
On all the clan sections of fansites that I have visited I have never seen one where skilling clans post their skill events. It just doesnt happen. Why? Well, those things would make more sense if they were posted on the events section, but I dont see clans posting them there neither. So, idk. Maybe its because of the very nature of skilling. Its just not as attention grabber as wars and such. And so people are not inclined to post them. For example, take a look at movies. Which are the most used topics for movies nowadays? Movies that show violence, fighting, and wars, or, movies that show people woodcutting, building houses, and fishing? A studio might decide to finance a movie about people woodcutting, but it will most likely not be viewed a lot by the general public. But dont listen to me. For your next clan event take a lot of screenshots (maybe even make a vid) and make a topic about it here. Instead of wondering why it doesnt happen, make it happen.
