Im talking about when you talk to the Ice imp and he says its getting hotter or getting colder.

 

 

 

When you walk to certain towns it gets hotter and when you walk to others it gets colder. Maybe depending on what server your in it depends on where Jack Frost is located.

 

 

 

I know this sounds weird but it is possible that each server Jack is located in the same region as all the others and maybe the hotter it gets that means its summer in that area. I know this sounds like a load of crap, but im just thinking.

I think he means how in some countries it may be summer but in others its winter, and we have different servers for different countries so that would determine what season it is on each server?

I got it in lumbridge cow field on both my accounts (world 24), but someone else who was in 24 said they got it near the black knight fortress =/

 

Unless they hopped worlds or something

No no no no, you're mis-interpreting this completely. The hot and cold messages from the imp are in on way whatsoever related to the city you happen to be in. The hot cold messages from the imp are based on whether you have moved closer or farther from Jack Frost's position.

 

If it(the imp) says it's hot in a location, that does not mean that it's summer there! It simply means that Jack is nowhere near that location. Just so, if a location is cold, that does not mean it's Winter there, it simply means that Jack is near that location.

 

Also, Jack's location isn't server based, it's random depending on the player. (I'm just theorizing this because while I was next to Jack, some players who had followed their friends could not see Jack.)

hate to disappoint you but we get a thread like this every winter event and its never true

 

 

 

we are not getting seasons every christmas they give us some nice snow/ice and what not every halloween we get halloween decorations and easter gets some easter stuff.

Due to the confusion of this topic, including the author themselves being confused, it's best this thread just be locked and quietly hide under the snow. ;)
