With the 8 k tokkul i already have, would have 258k tokkul, which is the price for 1 uncut onyx

No, the fire runes will end up selling for 1 tokkul after selling like 5 of them to the shop.

I do remember hearing a story about someone who obtained a fury for 500k..... I believe it can be done.

NPC shops buy an item for a set price, but for each instance of that object currently already in their shop, the buying price for that item is lowered. They initially buy the rune for 5gp, but then 4gp, 3gp and so on until it's 1gp per rune.

 

Remember that if this was true, furies would already cost 500k anyway.

This is why a lot of people how used to do obby items world hopped every x sales to decrease the cost.

Not to mention, its going to take you at least a week to sell them all, even if you spent 12+ hours a day selling them. I'd estimate a month of selling. I already tried this.

 

A. Fire runes take forever to buy, if you check the RSOF runes section, you'll notice its full with people doing the same thing your doing because they just macro sell the runes and resell the gem for 500k profit. When you macro sell to a store, theres no randoms and the screen doesn't twitch or anything. (Cough, brother tried it, cough)

 

B. You'll only get 500k profit....

The way to get a fury for 500k or less is to get raise some cats, then sell them to the people in west ardougne for death runes. Then sell the death runes to the tzhaar shop.

No...just sell the death runes and then buy the fury. Its cheaper and it'll cost you less time.

 

 

 

His idea was pretty out of the box, but its the same as investment in anything in RS. You just have to think of ways to make money, not ways to go around the system.

Well, it takes around 2.5 hours if you are completely focused and dont do anything else.

That was awhile ago when people found out they could do it with selling obby mauls, obviously doesn't work anymore :-#
