NPC shops buy an item for a set price, but for each instance of that object currently already in their shop, the buying price for that item is lowered. They initially buy the rune for 5gp, but then 4gp, 3gp and so on until it's 1gp per rune. Remember that if this was true, furies would already cost 500k anyway. I'd estimate a month of selling. I already tried this. A. Fire runes take forever to buy, if you check the RSOF runes section, you'll notice its full with people doing the same thing your doing because they just macro sell the runes and resell the gem for 500k profit. When you macro sell to a store, theres no randoms and the screen doesn't twitch or anything. (Cough, brother tried it, cough) B. You'll only get 500k profit.... Then sell the death runes to the tzhaar shop. No...just sell the death runes and then buy the fury. Its cheaper and it'll cost you less time. His idea was pretty out of the box, but its the same as investment in anything in RS. You just have to think of ways to make money, not ways to go around the system.
