ultimatballr
Well recently I have decided to drain my phat fund. Only 59m but a nice chunk of change. My question is, would it be possible to get 99 herb with 50m? (I am willing to spend 55m on it, that way I still got money left for essentials that I may need) -So how would I go about getting 99 herby with 50m (current level is 63 :( )?? -Is it possible? -I would prefer the best "bang for my buck" method not the "cheap" way. -I more than likely will NOT collect seconds so don't suggest it. As well as farming my own herbs, it won't happen. ---------------------------- Okay so lets say I cannot get 99 herb with 50m. Can I get 99 crafting with it? What would I be making to 99? (current level is 64) -Pretty much same as herby, I would like the best "bang for my buck", not the cheapest way. -------------------------- Would both be achievable with 50m, in a 6 month period, with the absolute cheapest or next to cheapest way? --------------------------- 50m wouldn't even be close to enough for 99 con would it? Using Oak Larders until 74 then Oak Doors to 99? I am bad with construction calcs and plank costs etc etc. I just want a buyable, expensive, 99 lol : ---- Or how about being able to obtain 99 range and mage 25-30m. I would be doing range with chins (OBV) but don't know what to do for mage. I have 94 Range. and 90 Mage. ----------------------- A few more things... As usual please just answer the questions, don't give me your opinion on the matter as I did not ask that (at least I don't think I did).. So don't say "blah blah blah, set your goals lower" Just answer the question, I will report the post, I do not like spam. Just links to guides or anything of that nature would be grand, as I am currently on my phone (yea long post on a phone imagine how my thumbs feel) and not really able to look for guides let alone read them. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Aeon_
For herblore I don't know but crafting would probably be D'hide bodies, and if you can be bothered, get volatile/proto needles from SC. You could also blow glass and make staves. Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
ultimatballr
I forgot to mention, so I will do so now, I am nearly 100% AGAINST, making staffs. I can't really get into it. If I absolutely positively HAVE to then I will but I would prefer other methods. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Skilling0wn
Well, There are some cheap potions, that i may or may not know of. :D But a friend of mine is getting 99 herblore, Currently 96. And he's doing it the Mediumfast pace. He pays 8-9gp per exp.

bedman
For crafting: buy staves from zaff everyday, and have GE-offers in all the time. (so you can buy 100 every 4 hours, or 600 a day). With air bstaves this comes to nearly 100k crafting xp a day, with half an hour work, and you break even. (if you buy orbs smartly). I got 80-90 crafting this way and I actually made profit (i had bought water orbs at 660 each, when they had crashed). It's not the way to go if you powerlvl, but it's a steady xp income per day and doesnt take long (the actual crafting of the staves is 230k xp an hour). 100k xp a day * 130 = 13m xp in less than 5 months. (and around 60 hours work). For herblore: You could try cleaning herbs. I heard it's up to 70k xp an hour, and can make you up to 500k profit an hour. It's very intentisve though. 70k xp an hour *200 = 14m xp. So less than 200 hours of very intensive work. You could alternate it with "normal" herblore to make it more bearable. So yes, it is possible to get it within six months. I A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!

wioneo
I'd suggest that you go with blue dhide bodies and morphic needles all the way. They are slightly more expensive to make than green hides, but a LOT cheaper than red or black. They also sell instantly in the GE or at elast did for a while. I usually train via staves, but I wanted to get 79 to 80 for more efficient SCing and I used blue hides. I bought leather at max to get the 50kish xp that i needed and it ended up costing me like 150k and took around 30ish minutes if I remember right...you should probably check those figures, though. I am intrigued but have not the slightest idea what he is saying or where to start. Ok the Lunar Spell: Superglass Makes glass if you have supplies, but it tends to make extra glass (around 4-5 extra per invent). If you then make orbs out of them, you'd get fast crafting xp with mage xp on the side. The spell is pretty intensive though to do it right. ~It's Super Effective! Zaaps1
What I mean is, the most efficient way to do it is this: After casting the spell, count 2-3 seconds and select "Bank" Banker or the Chest. Because of the unique way Lunar Spells are, you can bank halfway through the spell. However, doing it this way results in very intensive clicking. I did it and personally would not recommend it for what it's worth. Dhide is better crafting and String Jewelry/MTA is better magic. ~It's Super Effective! kdb148
You answered your own question with mage. If you make staves or d'hide bodies, just alch them. Any skill that transforms raw materials into usable objects is useful for training magic as well, if you don't mind alching. Check out this cool browser gladiator game! wioneo
Large numbers of dhide bodies are easy to sell now via the GE(I doubt that green ones are) so alching them would be throwing away potential profit, and I personally frikken hate alching. ultimatballr
I edited my original to add Con and Range/Mage (with 30m) I know alching for mage, and I know items that can only give me 50-70gp loss per alch but I was thinking of something that's a little more exp/hour for a little more cost. Not bursting or cursing for sure. I hear stunning is 80k exp/hour but it is also expensive as all hell. Apparently, my signature was to big. ultimatballr
Are you interested in the fastest possible method, or making money? Fastest possible method without doing Stealing Creation and wasting money. The time it takes to get points for that stuff adds on to my total time, it only takes away from the cost. If there is a method that gets me 100k exp/hour but costs 200k gp/hour versus a way that gets me 90k exp/hour at the cost of 100k gp/hour I'll take the extra time and get the 90k exp/hour. I am looking for the most efficient methods so the best gp/exp is what I am interested in. Stealing Creation tools highly reccomended, gives double exp so it cuts money used and time in half.(crafting) You are forgetting the time it takes to get the items. Not to mention the time it takes me (someone who has never played) to learn how to play. I am not interested TBH. Do diamond bolt enchanting for magic. Up to 150k an hour if you are a really fast clicker. Can combin this with pc too. You can make profit if you buy supplies smart. Can people stop telling me "If you do 'x' SMART." What the hell does "smart" mean. Just explain it instead of taking shortcuts please. Kellis
Smart means looking at the GE price graphs and watching to see the drops of supply costs. If they've been falling steadily and look like they're hitting a low, buy a whole bunch, so you're prepared. If they've been steadily climbing in cost for the last few days, hold off on buying them and gather more money/pursue an alternative method instead.
