I want to get 52 for the terrorbird. Best way for me to get charms? You can say just do slayer but what if I just wanted charms? Am I good enough for waterfiends? And no, bursting rock lobs is not a option.

I've heard that shadow warriors are decent? Also terror dogs.

Bloodvelds and monsters in the slayer caves for green charms. Basilisks are good, and drop herbs too.

Fire giants for gold charms. And profit, too!

Greaters drop crimsons, as do cockroaches. They're slightly harder to get.

Blues - well, don't grind for those.

Monsters in Chaos tunnels generally drop more charms. Head there to do training.

Greaters drop crimsons, (the best there is at your level, which is still bad.) as do cockroaches (Horrid droppers) . They're slightly harder to get. You could also try Black demons, Waterfiends, and Dust devils if you level a bit.

Blues - well, don't grind for those. True, but this applies to Green and Gold, as well... which is why I marked them irrelevant.

Monsters in Chaos tunnels generally drop more charms. They drop more charms for Black demons... anywhere else it doesn't. (Or the monsters you should be training at.) It is multicombat though, so use here if you are using a combat familiar. Head there to do training.

What he said seems pretty relevant to me, considering they're all ways to obtain charms. And the topic creator doesn't seem to be too opposed to grinding, since he inquired about Waterfiends. But what do I know.

I would definately train your combat stats a little bit more if you plan to attempt Waterfiends without a bunyip. And yeah, while they're second best to Rock Lobsters, they're still pretty pricy because you buy prayer potions.

But...yeah. Regardless, your first priority should be to train a bit, if it's crimsons you desire. (And tbh if you're just going to train anyway, you might as well do slayer and kill two birds with one stone.)

So what lvls would I need for waterfiends? And I think I probably will do slayer. I guess I knew that was what I should do after all, I was just hoping for a faster way. :(

For waterfiends: These are in MY opinion bare minimum

85s across the board for melee

80 mage

68 summon

80 cook (For eating raw sharks)

70 pray helps

Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2

Oh. That's not good for me. I like range. Nvm on waterfiends.

You can range waterfiends.

Might as well do Black demons. Ranging Waterfiends seems a bit oxymoronic to me.

You could do Waterfiends at 80 stats, but 85 would defientely help. However, if you Piety (I personally do) it'll help A LOT.

Well, I guess the word irrelevant was a bad word choice. The information was more... trivial. Why settle with anything but the best? (Crimsons) I definetely agree with what you said, though. Train FIRST, collect charms SECOND.

Until 52 though maybe fire giants :) Golds aren't THAT bad.

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

Fire giants are actually good for Summoning xp. However, they are the ONLY gold droppers that's good. Gold's sucks, but if you calculate how often Fire giants drops golds... it still falls short to Crimsons, though.

Yeah. On a separate note because i'm going mostly ranged. (ranged tank) would fire giants or waterfiends or black demons in the ct be better?

Sorry to hijack
