sgs is better for anything, +2 str over torso and barrows bottom, with sgs spec healing hp AND pray so you can use prays like 5% str (better then +2 str...)

Bandos boots are much less worth it than a body, didnt think of the pool, and who the hell would waste an inventory space for an ancient mace?

 

Its special isnt really even needed there.

 

 

with sgs at bandos 5 man, i can stay whole time without useing ANY food OR pots, jsut purely specing minions and prayin at alter... so yer, totally need that invin space with mace :roll:

If someone has what.. 38M and is thinking of buying a bandos plate, let them.

Because a torso is a total waste of time, has dodgy defence, especially when a bandos body is easily buyable.

SGS is definately worth it, maybe because you have crappy melee stats you wouldn't know. But it is awesome for slaying, and monster hunting.

Just because you dont like barbarian assault doesnt mean its a waste of time for everyone.

 

Torso is the same str as bandos plate, therefore instead of spending all his money say on bandos plate and tassets, he could get torso, tassets, and DFS plus have some money left.

Problem is dfs is an epic fail. You lose 20 attack bonus (which is even farther boosted by black mask if your slaying) and the +2 str equates to about half a damage, so wont always get a higher max. Its uses are almost 0, they are few and far between.

 

 

 

The sgs is just amazing every where. I wouldnt be getting 99 ranged without it. (unicorn + sgs + free prayer = tank every single task in void/zammy book)

 

 

 

Sgs is a beast for gwd as well, as its prolonged many trips resulting in good splits. something an ags would have failed at

 

 

 

about torso, its rubbish. Its got far less stats for def then a rune plate (I think its actually around mith-addy in defense bonsuses) for a lousy +4 str.

 

 

 

if you add torso with tassets and your dfs you get 13 str (+2 more then bandos and defender), at a loss of 20 attack and your defenses will be about likely lower still. so +2 str, or +20 attack and defense bonuses and +1 pray? (for even less costs)

 

 

 

In conclusion torso and dfs are both rubbish and you should just get an sgs, then eventually a bandos chest after. the tassets are ok but nothing special. Verac skirt is the best legs in game technically but I still enjoy my tassets

i was in the duel arena with full void and i survived dclaw specials from a guy with 99 att/str. I blame my survival on the sgs's specials..

 

 

 

Btw, aren't the bandos chestplate and tassets subject to merchanting? meaning there can be huge rises or falls? I dunno, haven't watched them in a while.

 

 

 

So what i'm being suggested to do is..

 

 

 

get a fury? get an sgs? get verac's skirt? (imo, tassets look pretty ballin' with a torso)...dboots of course...rune gloves :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

If you already have the torso, you might as well just keep it. If I were you I'd buy the sgs, then do gwd or something to make enough money for a bandos plate.
