i have a question about slayer what is my fave skill its currently 71 around 35k from 72 is it worth me picking up a set of guthans or getting BTP i can afford to get both and how long does guthans normaly last when used to top up your hp on slayer tasks how many tasks will it last.

 

lastly is there anything elese i need to help raise slayer faster?

im in the same boat bro idk id suggest guthans i just got and it seems alot less bank trips but still not much quiker xp whatever you decide goodluck

If you only ever use full guthan to heal, it should last at least a week before you need to start thinking about repairing it. I never use B2P anymore, go with guthan.

Just to be certain, you've got a black mask, right? It's the main thing for speeding up training.

yes ive had one for a while ive also picked up a cannon to help with some tasks

well for guthans to degrade completly it takes 15 hours, thats 15 hours of it being equiped while it's in you inventory it does not degrade so it should last you mabye a month

It's worth it, but not necessary. I did slayer 80 without guthans.

 

 

 

But back then guthans was actually still really expensive.

Guthans works on any monster that doesn't need special equipment for the head, body, legs, weapons, or shields spot. B2P works on any monster that drops normal bones.

 

For example, guthans works on jellies but not on basilisks. B2P works on basilisks but not jellies. So, get both.

 

 

 

Food also works, too. Prayer works, but gets too expensive.

 

 

 

 

 

Black mask is almost a necessity when training slayer with melee.

 

Smoking Kills quest is pretty much another necessity. Get the slayer mask. It'll let you have the attack bonuses while giving you protection from some special slayer monsters. Ability to make rings of slaying is also pretty much a necessity for fast slayer travel.

Yep, thats wrong.

 

 

 

Its 15 hours in combat, walking around in guthans will not cause it to degrade, and this is true for all barrows sets.

 

 

 

Also I think a month is a long time, when I was using guthans (pre bunnyip) I was recharging more often that that, although it depends how much you play and how much you need to heal.

All these time estimates (a month, a week, etc.) are useless if you don't know how much the OP plays per day.

The commonly quoted figure i hear is you use guthans roughly 1/5 ofthe time on average....so that's 1 repear per 75 hours of combat, so lets say 80 hours of slayer to accoutn for wandering around. Assuming you guthan every task, which you don't.

 

 

 

So it could last a month if you just pla ya couple hours a day.
