Wow, its nice to see you've started to make your own C4D's : , it looks better than your past sigs IMO. The middle of the tag looks sorta empty to me though, you might wanna try adding more effect C4D's for a bit more flare.

To be honest, you haven't really done anything to do. You made a Fractal, which is good, but then you chucked it in as the background without touching it/blending. You then added a render, and again didn't blend it in. You then chucked on a colour filter on top, and a border. There is no flow, depth, focal point, or anything really. I know that seems a tad harsh, but there is no other way of putting it. Don't let this discourage you from tag making though. Everyone makes bad tags now and then. Keep reading up on tutorials, and trying them. Try and read as many tutorials as you can, because you can then apply your new found knowledge to all of your tags.

I think it is a very good start, But the axe for me seems a little to far away. If you know how to do it bring the axe in closer to the renders body. That will clear up the big gaping hole in the middle and make it look better. Also You could add like a C4D on/near the axe I think that would be really cool. Just get creative :mrgreen: .

That's because those are the fundamentals of tag making. Don't have those, then your tag won't be too good...

 

And the axe should really be erased. It is just randomly floating there. Suppose you could select it with Lasso and bring it closer too, but then there would be nothing on the left side.

 

And just edit your post, no need to double post.

You're getting better, but try smudging more. Duplicate the layer, then fiddle with the smudge settings (the tip it photobucket's got some good GIMP ones) and try different brushes.

I think the render is too transparent... Make it more opaque and have it stand out a bit (just a little) more. Otherwise, nice!

Yes, I think he meant like that, it looks much better now. But that sig looks rather bland and empty. Especially on the sides.

Yes, that's what I meant. I think Sallaste is right. It would look as an avvy, with it's sides cut off, but right now as a sig, they're too empty.

Okay. TBH i made it into an avvy yesterday its now my MSN display picture. so +) it does look better with just the megaman.

I'd say that next time use a smaller canvas; 110x300 would be sufficent (sp) as you have enough space, and overlap the render over the edges of the sig (if that makes sense... :roll: I can't explain anything)

This one is different from my usual no aspect of water in it +P

Lowering the opacity does not equal blending.

 

 

 

Duplicate render, smudge all over bottom layer, fiddle with layer settings as desired.

i know it doesnt. But meh i dont like the purpleness of it. background i kinda like purple i dont. I prefer fishes and water +)

I would remove the blurry white lines over her face and add some effect onto her hands, but the composition is good.
