Keris vs Whip

Which would be better for slaying Kalphites, Keris or a whip? Also, would Keris be effective on the KQ?

I was also wondering this. I might say whip, but I havent't used keris, but the special seems infrequent. To above poster, is there a reason for what you said?

The special is randomly activated, it isn't a special move or anything. I'd use whip as I've tried the keris and didn't really like it.

When I've used keris I get the special about 1/20-1/30. It really doesn't happen enough to make much of a difference, IMO.

It's an option if your training strength, but go with whip otherwise. You can switch to Keris once in a while for the special effect, which is very random.

The special happens rarely, but Keris is still very strong against Kalphites. Use it if you are fighting the higher levelled ones.

IMO Keris for the higher level kalphites.

 

 

 

The special acivates randomly but when it does it can hit 60+

 

 

 

I added P++ poison to mine and is my weapon of choice when i get slayer assigned these.

I like the keris just because it's fun to hit crazy high sometimes, and the best chance to do that is when you can add +15% strength from the black mask to the already-tripled damage. But because of the infrequent nature of the special ability, a whip will get the task done faster.
