Inuashakent Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 This has been asked many times :XD: but I'm here to ask again, but my stats are a bit higher than most. 92 Range, 77 Prayer, 98 Defense, 99 Hp, and 92 Summoning. I'm going to use a Unicorn, 10% Range prayer, VOID KNIGHT, and a Range pot. Also I'm not sure if I should use Rune knives, Obby rings, or something else... I hit 19.93 + 25 accuracy (speed 7) with Rune knives, and 25 + 69 accuracy with Obby (speed 6). And are Obby rings even buyable? So what equips should I use? Inventory? Tips? Unholy book w\ saradomin stole for god items. 600k profit + 60k XP\hour. Obby rings only buy 100 every 4 hours, put in an order for 1k or so and let them buy over time. Drops: 1x Draconic Visage, 56x Abyssal Whip, 5x Demon Head, D Drops: 37, Barrows Drops: 43, DK Drops: 29GWD drops: 14,000x Bars, 1x Armadyl Hilt, 2x Armadyl Skirt, 4x Sara Sword, 1x Saradomin Hilt, 8x Bandos Hilt, 8x Bandos Platebody, 9x Bandos Tassets, 4x Bandos Boots, 43x Godsword Shard, 82x Dragon BootsDry streak records: Saradomin 412 kills Bandos 988 kills Spirit Mages 633 kills - Slayer Sucks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's too many people to effectively do it any more (the spot always has 3+ people on every world), and even when it was, it was never as good as throwing rings. Throwing rings deal an average of 1.7-1.8x the damage per minute of emerald bolts, giving you far more XP and dramatically outhitting the small advantage poison provides with emerald bolts. Plus, your going to have some seriously short trips with protect from range and +10% prayer on. The unicorn pretty much invalidates any prayer based methods, it's simply far handier then BTP. They are the best range weapons I have ever used at avansies, far out hitting anything else I've tried, including dragon darts\rune knives\rune bolts\karil's crossbow\rune arrows\crystal bow. (yeah, I've spent a lot of time testing these things :-# ). It's the magnet that picks up ranged items. Which begs the question: why does the accumulator pick up bone bolts? Only some of the avansies are aggressive; you'll pick up quickly, I won't bother typing a guide. For the few occasions where your getting hit by 2+ avansies in the first 10 minutes, use range pray sparingly if you pony can't keep up.
