January 16, 200917 yr Hey all I am a lvl 87 looking for monsters i can on that actually have a decent drop rate of rune and other good items. I have been fighting green dragons for the hides and bones, and although they supposedly drop rune, they dont do it very often. I am also sick of training in the wildy, as i get killed by a revenant if i dont pay attention for 30 secs, like when i was writing this post for example. My lvls are: 70 attk, 65 str, 69 def, 69 hp. Anything i could kill that would be better then these guys? Thanks, B mass
January 16, 200917 yr i dont tthink a monster exists that drops rune often? i like killing dags in chaos tunnels pray range and have auto retaliate pick ur circ hides which sell for 23k instantly stretched and flat dont sell frem helm/shield/sword alch for about 3k-3.9k ea
January 16, 200917 yr There's lots of other monsters. I'd say get to 70 def first so you can wear the Barrow's armor. Then maybe try the cockroach soldiers in the strong hold of player safety. Once you get better stats try to kill fire giants in either the Chaos Tunnels or underneath the waterfall. But i mostly slay so i don't know much about training on anything else. January 16, 200917 yr Don't go for Rune items, but rather monsters that give cash/hour. Dags, Cockroaches, and Fire giants are all poor choices (no offense). January 16, 200917 yr To get to Green dragons, start from Edgeville and go northeast until (I think) ~13 wildy and go to the chaos tunnels. Head north (east a bit) and enter the portal and you'll see a room full of Green dragons and baby blacks. I think there was a guide, search for it. Youtube definitely should have vids too. Just enter the rift south of edgevile and you'kll be right amongst them. that is an insanely lucky drop rate. it is normally a lot lower than that. they dont drop dragon scimitars, the only thing that drops d scimitars is kril' tutsaroth. yeah, misleading information, cockroaches are still good, but not as good as you say.

Edit: Here's a video. Alternatively he can start from bounty hunter and run to the rift to the east of Stealing Creation. The portal to the green dragons is the northeast one when entering that rift. Once he has as many hides/bones he can carry use a games necklace back to bounty hunter to bank.
