Hey all,

 

i am currently wearing; dragon med, rune pl8, dragon legs, rune kite, ring of wealth, dragon scimmy and obby cape. i am lvl 81. i was wondering how i could improve this with some new item upgrades, my main interest is to find a replacement for the old rune pl8 that is not dragon and not to expensive, and to find some form of gauntlets, bracelet or gloves. -Barrows degrades slowly. Get a chestpiece and legs because they are cheap and effective. Torag plate and Verac skirt is popular even among high level players.

Helm: Neitiznot (frem isles required)

 

Neck: Glory

 

Body: Torags/Dharoks/Guthans (whatever look you prefer)

 

Legs: Verac's Skirt

 

Boots: Dragon/Rune (dragon would be much better)

 

Cape: Legends (cheap)/obsidian

 

Gloves: Best RFD (get at least Addy)

 

Ring: Warrior/Life/Explorer (3)

 

Shield:Rune Defender

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Good, not very expensive. Many people believe that barrows is not worth it because of degradability, but it degrades VERY SLOWLY. It will last you 15 hours of pure combat before needing restoration. Also, it doesnt degrade just from wearing it, like PVP armor.

don't want to start another debate so I'm gonna say that if you start and decide you don't like the minigame, don't bother with it. the rune plate is ok for now, its the dragon med you really need to fix, get a neitzot or a warrior helm.

Fighter Torso is a waste of time and you are better off with rune.

 

 

 

Seriously though, the torso isn't worth it. Even you enjoy the minigame like myself, the torso is garbage.

 

 

 

I would invest in Barrows plate and legs. Guthans would be my preference and is cheap if you buy just the 2 parts. You can add the helm/spear later if you need the set effect. Dragon boots are a must. Fury is best ammy but glory will do until you have enough for fury.

 

 

 

Rune defender is best shield option and is easy to get, just make take a bit of time. Gauntlet wise, wear the gloves you get from Recipe For Disaster. Word of warning on those, do not buy dragon, wait until you can get barrows, expense isn't worth it. If that's not an option that regen bracelet is meant to be good for lower levels.

granite body is about 100k and is slightly better than rune plate

oh yeah and the regen bracelet is pretty good, at about 300k it heals you 2hp instead of 1 naturally and it has the same stats as addy gloves from rfd
