January 20, 200917 yr OK here is what I don't like about GIMP. ~Not formatted to where you can alter Gradient map (Or I can't find it.) ~Some fonts I download don't work with GIMP... ~When I click a different project on the toolbar the project doesn't pop up always. But other than that and it not having outer and inner glow it is fine, for people without the will to buy PS.

January 20, 200917 yr I herd Gimp 2.6 was supposed to get that thing, but I don't know yet. I would also love the dock thing, just like in PS. BTW, I use GIMP for tags, been trying InkScape and GraphicsGale (for pixels). So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. But other than that and it not having outer and inner glow it is fine, for people without the will to buy PS. Yeah you can format the gradient maps use the internet to be easier. All fonts I download work... are they FONT formats and in the correct folder? Yeah but thats just a 2-3 click then poof your there.
