January 29, 200917 yr "fast" is relative as this is extremely boring. I got 32 magic on dummy's through curses on my pure and i hated it. Good luck trying not to get bored. :thumbup:

Getting 99 by cursing is a different method though ... that's why there are good combat minigames as breaks. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Curses downright suck, even for F2P, once you get past 43. It's about 33k mage xp an hour (compared to 53k for superheating mith and 80k for superheating iron) and costs more than mith (though less than iron). January 30, 200917 yr If you plan on only getting experience from cursing, I recommend getting a high negative magic attack bonus and cursing a creature nobody ever attacks so you can keep cursing it. You won't ever succeed in cursing it so you'll be able to keep splashing and getting the exp.
January 31, 200917 yr also to add to darksonic arrange the magic book to teleports first, this puts the curse icon closer to the edge of the screen. Then position the screen so that the dummy/monster is in the lower right corner. If you are running hd you might be able to put the curse icon over the monster/dummy, click the curse, hit f7; click monster; hit f7; click curse; hit f7; hit monster. f7 is the quick command for spell book. For the max -magic bonus the set up is full armor with metal gauntlets fighting boots(optional), no ammy. Even with a staff you still fail every time, allowing you to cast the curse on the same monster, usually yielding quicker xp.
