Scorpio628
Many apologies if this topic is redundant, but I would like to ask if anyone knows definitively whether monsters have elemental weaknesses. Of course not all monsters would and many would not have this weakness. However I can easily see select monsters such as elementals or giants that would have a soft spot for magic of their opposing class. In the order of water > fire > earth > wind > water(not to mention ancient magicks). If anyone knows for sure whether this is the case or not their input would be greatly appreciated. If elemental weaknesses are present in this game then they could easily increase the efficacy of magic training for all charters and that is something I would appreciate seeing. ladycai
Yes elemental weaknesses exist, but I don't think it exists in the way you say. I'm not sure to say that air elementals are weak to earth attacks, but fire to water makes sense. There are some monsters that have weaknesses, and return, they have elemental affiniations. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

purewcnub
Well, i know that water spells are effective against Thzarr, and fire spells are good against ice trolls. So there must be elemental weakness Goals: 94 magic94 ranged55 slayerAddy gloves-done

fenrir321
Meh, I don't know. All I know is that in DT, Fareed is week to water, Kamil is weak to fire, Dessous is weak to air, and Damis is weak to earth. Smoke = fire Ice = water Shadow = air Blood = earth That's my experience with elemental weaknesses, not sure about others.
Ned
Jagex programs elemental weaknesses into random monsters, usually quest related. Also note that Mummies have a weakness to fire :) (they actually set on fire). Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum! Blutters
I'm not sure to say that air elementals are weak to earth attacks, Ever heard of the Dust Bowl? It was actually kind of the reverse of that...
