I think the best yew spot is Catherby. Just hop to a nearly empty world. The reason I'm immune to hopping is because of Hunter though.

If you have done Legends Quest, Legends Guild is a good spot in my opinion. Bank in guild and three yew trees. You will more than likely have them to yourself. And if you don't, one hop is all it usually takes to get them to yourself.

Really for mage trees, your only options are south of Seer's Village, that one tower where you do Scorpian Catchers, and south of the Mage Training Arena. I'd go for either south of Seer's or tower, because if either is crowded you can easily go to the other

 

Also for yews I like to use the ge or edgeville, two other viable options I hadn't seen yet.

The best place to cut yews is at the Gnome Stronghold with a planted yew in the tree patch. The best places to cut magics are Lletya with crystals and the Ranging Guild with combat bracelets. However, they're both slow moneymakers and poor woodcutting experience, and they're inferior in most every way to eucalyptus, which are at Oo'glog. (You can look in my woodcutting guide if you have further questions.)

Both of the tree spots I go to are extremely crowded at certain times, but empty at others. For yews, I used to go to the GE when I wasn't nocturnal (har, har, laugh it up :roll: ). I'd suggest you stick to this if you're impatient to sell it quickly, but otherwise go to the Catherby trees (for the I'll-sleep-when-I'm-dead peeps). Mages are best in my opinion south of Seers, with a group of 3 and another group of 4 at the tower. These are empty at times around 2 AM to 6 AM central time. How to counter this problem?

 

 

 

Become like me! Sleep at 10 AM and wake up at 7 PM! Take some time to do those fun stuff with your friends, then woodcut and do training things past midnight! :D

It's worth noting you can use a combat bracelet to teleport to the guild when your done with a load of yews and/or just banked your yews. If I remember right, you can recharge the bracelet in the legends guild so you only need to have one.

No, you're probably thinking of the Champions' Guild. The Legends Guild doesn't have a teleport, unless you count the fairy ring. In any case, you'd still want multiple combat bracelets to save on recharging time.

Depends on your world access and bank access...i think the spots have been covered...plant yourself a magic tree (if you can, I'm not able to look at your stats at the moment) in the Gnome Stronghold...that should be the best place for that tree...and the yews if you can only plant a Yew there.

I guess there's just too many guilds for all of them to have teleports. It's a shame, really, because I'd prefer a Legends Guild teleport to a Ranging Guild teleport.

gnome stronghold is pretty good if you've the level to plant the trees.

 

 

 

the elf lands are also good. though it'll be quite boring there. rarely see anyone chopping there everytime i wait around to recharge my crystals.
