It has some real deep meaning into humanity. Its a proper short film released earlier this year directed by Chris Cunningham. Rubber Johnny documents a 16-year-old, inbred mutant's solitary existence, locked in a pitch-black basement by his ashamed parents. They are TV addict rednecks who occasionally feed Johnny and yell at him for making noise. Johnny's only company in the basement is his little dog. His dog's I.Q. far outstrips Johnny's, who is a completely insane, bi-polar imbecile. The point is to show another dark side to humanity not only the way that his parents keep this child locked away but also by seeing how much its been seen around the world so many people looking at it but caring not for the poor person in the video in a voyeur effect. Its not meant to be scary its meant to us to think about our own humanity. As for the "techno" its by Aphex Twin, a band renound for its music being nuse in dark film shorts and animation. David Firth uses a lot of their music in Salad Fingers for example. Ive seen some of Chris Cunninghams other work and I really hope that someone commissions him to make a full length film in the forseable future. Maybe the film is beyond most of the people on this forum, too young to understand whats going on and are only seeing it as a "scary movie". And Merc, I wasn't aware that Ebaumsworld had animal torture on it? I haven't really looked at ebaumsworld since it had just started, but I will have a looksee now and see what is going on there :S From what I have heard I am going to agree with you in thinking it is sick though.

July 30, 200520 yr I saw it. Thought it was some good techno. :D I love Aphex Twin, and David Firth's animations. He has some very good music for his other animations too (besides Salad Fingers).
