I really don't want a girlfriend right now, most of them are just too much drama, and I can't put up with it well. I would get a girlfriend based on the fact I enjoy their company. I've got more important matters to worry about. I'm one of those who should've kissed a girl a long time ago but didn't. I've moved on. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. If you could take back every mistake in your life, you would only make more mistakes because you would have nothing to learn from. I love my life and I acknowledge that I have made mistakes, but rather than spending my time wishing that they didn't happen, I do my best to learn from them. O2l Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I used to regret not listening to my mom when she told me to wash my... :wall: seriously i used to regret not listening to my mom when she told me to take guitar lessons...or when she wanted to buy me an electric drum I did that only to do the contrary of her sayings. Well 13 yrs later here I am..learning bass and guitar on my own...enjoying it to the fullest. Being in a band (even tho we aren't serious at all) and writing lyrics and stuff. I think that if I did take those lessons I would not have interest in music the way I do today. And seriously. why regretting over past mistakes? I say that instead of depressing about it and missing stuff in your life because of your regrets, just move on. Of course I do have some, but I don't let them weight me down or anything. Instead, I set them as goals, unless it was a one time thing. Also, one thing I've found is that doing something that scares you is one of the most exhilarating someone can do. Even if it's as simple as asking someone out. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
