JustPokemon
well by your signature it seems as if your not a memb yet, but by this post, it seems as if you are... so ill give suggestions for F2P and P2P F2P:-SoS Zombies -SoS Giant Spiders -Lesser Demons These arent the best ways, but probably are the best for your levels. If you dont know what a monster is, you can look it up in the Bestiary P2P:-Experiments -Rock Crabs -Yaks -Slayer tasks/assiagnments -Pest Control minigame -Soul Wars minigame

Mylez
To say some people don't like Slayer is a bit blunt. If they like killing one monster, surely they'd enjoy slayer? It's much the same, except you get more variety, more exp, and more loot. Anyway, my advice is to slay. Good luck!

I dont like Slayer... and I think there are more "noobish" people other than myself. I'm not saying you are, but in general high combat with low slayer = noob. Anyone can AFK combat or gain massive amount of XP (old PC for example). Slayer shows you have dedication to a skill and also net you extra XP. Trust me I am so glad my levels have been gained through slayer. When I do max melee I will be 96-97 slayer, leaving only 2-3 levels to get whilst "wasting" XP. If you have max combat before slayer then you are having to do all that fighting all over again. Plus the charms I have gotten so far have got me 86 summoning in a year. I've been doing slayer for over 3, so if I had have had charm drops from the start, I'd be damn close to 99 summoning as well. Trust the Gene Genie! Ive never really noticed that. If Slayer was a skill that raised combat then I would definitely raise it as high as I can. But for now, Im feeling like Im goign to stick to getting 55 Slayer for broads and leave the rest to my Tears. Maybe after a while Ill get into the habit of raising it. If you want the fastest xp, (which I don't see why you wouldn't) slayer is useless. Why waste time going to get new tasks, finding where the monster is, getting different armor depending on what monster it is, getting different slayer items to kill them, and sometimes having to burthrope your task and kill some random low level creature. In all the time you spent doing that you could've gotten loads more xp, while hardly doing any work (if you're at an AFK training spot, but even if you're not, its still not that much work compared to slayer) Sure, I get your point, but really, slayer is pretty much useless. I have 65 slayer or so on my main, and it took quite a while, and I really have never "used" my slayer level. The drops that I got from getting slayer levels were less than mediocre as well. And if you want charms, well then I'm sure you can find a monster to train on that drops charms. I'm just saying, if you want fast xp, don't bother with slayer. If I could do it over again, the only reason I would level slayer is for total levels, and hell, I'd just level it to around 30 or so because after that the levels get incredibly slow. :ohnoes:My Guide on Obby Mauling! Slayer = 99 levels of your total level. If you plan on maxing all stats one day then it makes sense to train with the other combat stats. Once you hit higher combat and higher slayer then you make about 40-60k per task on average. This is before you count herbs, key parts, high value drops and the little you lose cannoning a few. Slayer is pretty cheap to train. Few pots and you're sorted. High slayer = respect. Slayer cape is awesome. High slayer means you will be first in line for the next "slayer" drop. I'm almost 95 slayer so as and when we get a 95 beast to kill for something better than the whip, I'm in for a serious payday. Thats the extreme example, but look at Dragon Boots, people made a fortune in the first week there. At the end of the day it is down to personal choice, however the vast majority of players will recommend slayer over camping at armoured zombies. Trust the Gene Genie!
