obfuscator
When arranging a war/event with another clan, what do you prefer to use: forums, or irc? My personal favorite is irc. It is faster, and less hassle. Besides, I think things are generally a little clearer when you are actually having a conversation with someone. However, forums have their advantages as well. If you don't use irc, forums are a better way. Also, there is more evidence of agreed upon rules if something goes wrong. Another reason to use forums is if the clan irc isn't public. Some clans have public irc's, others have public irc's but hide them, and others have 2 channels, a public, and a private(such as the wilderness guardians). Anyway, how does your clan do things? SasTroopers
Usually MSN, having over 2k msn contacts 95% clan members, it's easy to find any clan contacts I need. Nn the unlikely event that i can't find a contact, I spam my msn and people add me to the conversations with the people I need. Occasionally I just use irc, but mostly MSN. #exodus ^swiftirc. ..:: HoratioSAS | Sas Troopers ::..___________________________[email protected]

Yeah, I find a lot of people to prefer msn. Not me though, I prefer to keep my msn most IRL contacts ;) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Nobody
I prefer IRC, nothing like a real conversation with someone though forums are better for official declarations since there is more official notice of it then. With love to one, friendship to many, and good will to all.
Enzock
All our officials use MSN to set up fights as I have officials from all the top 10 clans or so added. Feels like I have half the clan world added when I look at my list sometimes lol. Proud Leader of the Corruption Clan. PM me to set up a fight or for any queries relating to my clan. mrmyk
Normally, I hop into a clan's IRC and ask them for a fight and if they're interested, get them to add me on MSN to discuss specifics. The Observer
We normally use forums as the other clan tends to do that also. Although, I would prefer IRC.
Kimberly
When I declared, I used a mixture of forums/irc. I used the forums to make a public declaration and IRC to arrange the rules. IRC is easier, I think, to take screenshots of. I know capping the rules has come in handy quite a few times for me in the past. Though I think I'm old fashioned, because our War Council usually use an IM'ing client like MSN to set up wars whenever possible.
