February 22, 200917 yr I have 75 mining, 100 ms ping, yet unfailingly, I get beaten out by anyone 40 or higher mining level. I mean everyone. I have no issues in other lag sensitive games (A certain blizzard game comes to mind), but mining is just starting to really irritate me. I play min settings, no sound. Not sure what's going on.

Maybe they're just getting there first, at that level mining all they have to do is tap the stupid thing [hide=Stats][/hide][hide=Total Exp Today][/hide]Talk on the phone for hours with schoolmates and you have an active social life.Raid naxx with some schoolmates on WoW and you're a fat menace to society with no ambition or motivation.

February 22, 200917 yr Go to a pvp world and kill whoever's bothering you. what makes it better is that few people ever actually go to mining spots on pvp worlds so you can train in relative peace. that's what i do when areas get crowded lol

February 23, 200917 yr well seeing as how you are f2p, than i would say pvp world is your best bet, but if you do become a p2p any time soon, then you could mine iron under lumbridge castle in the goblin mines, (need to do 1 quest first) and no one mines there usually thats how i got my 85 mining, and there is also a goblin there who will buy your iron, i prefered to sell it rather than dump (less clicking). anyways hope that helps

People say it's the connection but i actually think that the higher your mining level, the worse you get. I beat a level 96 and a 91 miner when mining iron, but lost to everyone lower than 85 lol.

That's nearly irrelevant, seeing that most high leveled miners are outmined by the lower leveled ones. But yeah there are some secluded power-mining spots. You just need to look for the right places. March 15, 200917 yr Couldn't agree more. It's always frustrating when a significantly lower level outmines you. :wall: Can anyone explain how this level thing works? Is like I have lvl 85 mining, therefore I have an 85% chance of getting the rock on each swing?
March 15, 200917 yr It seems that, for whatever reason, the lower mining level always win. I don't know why this happens.
