danasker
Not sure if anybody else has noticed any, but I found this one rather amusing as JaGex are so high and mighty on their spelling and grammatical correctness, they made a rookie mistake.. GF :] EDIT: Btw I wasn't sure where exactly to put this so I shoved it here since it may start a convo, you never know
rangeor
If they said "Jump-through destroyed wall" the box would be kinda long, don't you think? And I never thought of Jagex as "high and mighty" on their spelling and grammar.

Omali
It's probably to save space in the message, since the window is already stretched enough. I also don't remember Jagex being "high and mighty" when it comes to spelling. Amazing how most threads that use "gf", end up being idiotic, nitpicky, or fallout from the always-leaking rsof. GF kiddy. Here's a box of crayons and a coloring book, go sit in the corner so the rest of us don't have to deal with you talking out of your [wagon]. danasker
Had some positive and extremely mature replies back, thanks guys I really appreciate it. NO NEED TO BE [bleep]ING [bleep]ERS ABOUT IT I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS QUITE LULZ SINCE THEY RARELY EVER MAKE TYPOS. And yes "Jump-through destroyed wall" would be kinda long, but they normally choose grammatical correctness over space. If all you have to say is flame, then [bleep] off. I didn't post this to be called a kid, I posted this 'cause I was just there on the quest and thought it was funny. kratmus
Hmm. I don't see them as High and mighty.. But I am sure, that they allways are very fast at typos(as thats pretty easy to fix). Example: lvl 666 to smith a mith pickaxe(I got a pic if anyone wants..) But I don't see a reason why you seems to pick on, as he haven't been offensive to you. Offensive language is also tolerated as a warning, and as I see it, its pretty offensive to tell someone to go to a corner and paint with color(Saying indirectly that he is childish, and if he is, you should'nt care). (Good essay :P :P) Back to topic: I never really see a typo for more than a week, because they are good at editing them. So I think it is like they want it, as they want the box to be small, and not so large. Best f2p crafter. Sy_Accursed
Jagex makes typos all the time, just usually in the dialogue. If you read patch notes or hidden updates nearly every one has typo fixing in it. Anyway its not REALLY a typo. Will H
I doubt that's a typo. If it is, it's not bad enough to need fixing. RS, unlike many of it's human inhabitants, generally keeps impeccable grammar, and with all of the text, examines, game information, quests, names and options that have to be typed up manually, their effort has been outstanding. So forgive them if one or two errors get through, they are, after all, only human (although I sometimes wonder about Mod MMG... ;) ). ~ W ~

Grammar is sentence structure, word order and punctuation. Spelling covers typos, slang and abbreviations . Jeez You thought it was funny the same way an 8 year old thinks the word poo is funny. Doesn't make you any less immature. spooferfish
They use typing shortcuts so the boxes and names of things aren't ridiculously long. They have abbreviated a lot of items in the game, and some command like things, as you found.

Myweponsg00d
This is absolutely idiotic. This is like saying they made a typo when it says "colour". "Thru" is completely fine. I guess you think they make typos when things are called "Addy _____"? Cause addy isn't a word. Need assistance in any of these skills? Uula
JaGex are so high and mighty on their spelling and grammatical correctness I don't see at all where you're coming from with this statement. Could you explain, at all, what it is based on? Also, I can play this game too: If it's "through" and not "thru", it's "Good fight, typographical errors", not "GF Typos". And you are, on better basis than by which you claim Jagex to be, obviously so high and mighty on your spelling an grammatical correctness that you shouldn't make this kind of rookie mistake. Now, I'm not sure whether my post is grammatically correct or not, but bear in mind that everyone can play this game whenever they have anything to point out. But for that, we'd better use another forum. Hmm, that could make a nice Forum Game. "The Grammar Game", point out what's wrong with the post above. pryomancer
No discussion value. Just because JaGEx rarely makes grammatical/spelling errors, doesn't mean they consider themselves to be superior because of it. Also, watch your language and attitude, if you don't like what someone has said, don't respond in an aggressive manner, that doesn't help. Locked.
