Why waste time scanning every blade of grass when I could just snipe and move on? Im tired of the people who have an ego that the have to keep sky high on XBOX LIVE (or psn, but nobody cares about that :P ) so they try as hard as they can with the dumbest classes to maintain the usualy 1.14 k/d.

 

If you would try something new and fun, such as quickscoping, noscoping, or something in that area. Maybe even just trick shotting with shotties. Just have fun, and you will get better if you practice. I promise you that. I maintain a k/d of 1.34-1.36 and all I do is snipe. and occasionally, Ill be having a bad day or be mad, and get out an AR or LMG. But most of the time its just all fun.

And when you do get good at sniping, your team WILL win. I can prove this any time you want. I have me, and my 5 best friends in real life, and we quickscope constantly. I play TDM for fun, and just to boost my KD up. Our usual score in a TDM, with our whole team quickscoping/sniping, ends up at arounddd... 750-500. Its consistant too. And most of the time, the comments about "Oh he thinks hes the best sniper in the world" and "oh isnt he cool for quickscoping" come from the kids who are so bad they have a 0.77 KD with a Marathon/CB/Ninja Pro with UMP-SD class. Its just sad.

 

Play the game, have fun, and respect what other people like to do. Some people might not be cocky. Some will be. Just chill out, and talk about CoD. Not about the fussfest you have with yourself on a regualar basis over the FAL, ACR, Commando, Painkiller, which gametype is better, or whatever. Just shut up and talk about MW2.

This is the problem with thermal. In COD4 you had to know the maps to snipe, eg whether or not that shape on Bloc in the shadows is a person, whether that shape in the grass is a head, whether thats someone peaking over that wall. All that goes in MW2 because thermal lights you up. Recently I have seen a decline in thermal however, and M/L/C. Thinking about just pulling out a riotshield if theres a load of idiots using M/L/C, because they don't carry any explosives, because they normally run with throwing knives.

You say that like I'm incapable of sniping a target that isn't glowing. If someone is using Cold-Blooded they're gray like everything else so I still have to be on the lookout.

I prefer to use my FAMAS and P90. I snipe on only the large maps because it's more efficient than the FAMAS or P90. I'm perfectly content with using a thermal scope even if it's "less challenging".

I don't get all the hate over Commando to be honest, I guess that's what shotguns are for.

Have you everr heard of the WA2000 and cold blooded? :roll:

WA200? Why would I use that [cabbage]? Also yeah, cold blooded is with my SMG class, stopping power is required for my sniping class, which I use pretty much constantly, every map.

WA2k kills with one hit to the chest or higher without stopping power.

Your a good sniper, you can hit chest and up.Stopping power is not required to snipe.

I've never used SP on my SCAR-H, I've always used Hardline, because that's what I've always used with it.

I do wish that they had bipods in MW2, for both snipers and LMGs. I'd have to say that would be rather balanced. Increased accuracy with little recoil, but it makes you an easier target as it's harder for you to move if discovered.

It's affected by your perks. The WA2000 doesn't need Stopping Power, so you can use Cold-Blooded.

 

I don't really like the WA2000 either, though. Or any sniper, really.

Bipods were crap in WaW. And for the WA2000, I got the mastery title for it and didn't like it. The only good thing about it is that you can use a diffferent red perk, its got a crap capacity, takes a long time to switch to, and is ugly as hell. I prefer the M21 to it but thats not very good either, I liked using it with ACOG to get mastery though.

bipods...another one of my ideas for it:

 

for LMG and snipers, attachment (on LMG, cant use handgrip with it)

 

when you go prone, it takes longer to go down and get up; you can mount the weapon on ledges (like windows and fences)

recoil whilst prone/set up on a ledge = next to nothing

for snipers: no holding breath needed

 

the drawbacks: slower to go prone and get back up, slower to setup and get off on ledges; limited turning angle whilst prone or mounted (like 60 degrees or something)

Was playing CoD4 and WaW with my cousin today. They really suck compared to MW2 in my opinion. My xbox [bleep]ed up and wouldn't read my cousin's MW2 disc (as I don't have it on 360.) Gonna spend all of tomorrow trying to get closer to 500 SPAS-12 kills.
