Hello Tip.it!

This is Blazing_pont here, one of the leaders of Breakout, a clan created on the 19th October and after steady growth is planning on making a name for itself in the clans community. First off id like to present to you our clan history so far which should tell you all alot about us.

The following history is written by Jcfc, the founder of Breakout

The History of Breakout

The First Era - Development

October 2008

On the 19th October 2008, the idea for Breakout was created by Jcfc. Originally initialled BO but changed for obvious reasons, this was created due to leadership changes in Bloodshed Kingdom (now Bloodshed Empire) which many people were unhappy about. About 8 BsK members joined Breakout - only two remain our leader Blazing and Pamela one of our recruiters. Br was officially released to the world on the 20th October.

Jcfc created the rank system, attempting for it to be short and sweet. Requirements were 75+ or 90+ to join the warring legion (now dropped). This has not been changed since its creation bar the warring idea.

There were some notable staff - Fishin' mage, former BsK leader, as a minister, X Men570 as Recruiter/Junior Moderator/Coordinator, and Blazing Pont & Omgausername as Coordinators - but the clan began quite slowly. Fishin', Omga and X Men, as well as Huggy Pked U (Junior Mod) left Br to try out BsE. The remaining former BsK members returned to BsE and Jcfc followed them, giving the leader access to Blazing Pont on the 26th October. Jcfc remains as the root admin however with the Retired Leader rank.

The clan began to progress much faster. Many ideas implemented by Blazing, such as the Breakout Plan, began working. A new requirement, 70+ with a referral, was introduced. More and more people were joining. At the end of October, 14 members had joined - an average of about a new user per day, impressive growth for a new clan.

Jcfc left BsE for AfterShock, a spin off clan from BsE made for the same reason back in January. Update: Jcfc is now clanless due to inactivity.

November 2008 My unofficial Member of the Month: Blazing Pont

November for Breakout was nothing but improvement. By the end of the month, the clan had surpassed 30 members on the Runehead - a massive feat for a clan that had just broken the 6 week mark. In a massive boost to spirits, Omgausername returned from BsE to help Breakout in the recruitment area, something which has rapidly improved. Pamela32000 and Da_Urbz also began to help in this area.

Blazing began to show his true leadership spirit, and introduced some new measures and allied with our first ever clan - The PK Order. As this is written, Br are still helping them improve in the clanning world. Br had a new motto - Welcome Home - and its first ever clan wars event, which was a great success (

) and showed Br's true organisation. The Mid-Winter Masquerade, aiming to improve relations between BsE and other spinoffs, saw mixed success; BsE seemed hostile to the idea and very few people showed up. Aftershock, however, were more welcoming and more members enjoyed the event.

December 2008 My personal Member of the Month: Ramen Bomb

The closing month of the year, with big things planned and happening. In the first monthly update, Wolfwood was promoted to warring coordinator and Castel0 to Br's minister. Plans for Christmas events were drawn up by Blazing. Just days afterwards, the staff team was improved further by introducing Ramen Bomb as a minister, Ace of Hearts as Events Coordinator and two Recruitment Coordinators in Omgausername and Thefuzzy3. Aftershock were invited to the series of Christmas events, which included Blazing's very own 99 Woodcutting party, hide and seek, and PvP events. They were largely a success.

Breakout then had an activity check and this weeded out the ones that did not involve themselves with the clan. There were no large-scale demotions and a handful were kicked, showing the general dedication to the clan as a whole.

Ramen Bomb, in his divine generosity (now THAT is a cool phrase), bought Breakout their own domain name, http://breakoutclan.com/. The site was then updated to use this address and to look more like a website rather than just a forum.

Then, on Christmas eve, Zamostra got a surprise of her own - she was promoted to Internal Affairs due to her diplomatic skills so that she could mediate the clan and curb any wrongdoings. The clan continued from strength to strength with activity increasing across the board.

For Breakout, it certainly was a very merry Christmas.

January 2009 Official Member of the Month: Ramen Bomb

January, and in the words of Blazing, "A new dawn is arising". Blazin' finished negotiations with Aftershock and allied with them. Omega was promoted to Elite for possibly the best reason I have ever heard:

Second announcement, after constant whineing, stirring speeches, and generally being a pain in the arse biggrin.gif Im announceing the promotion of omega to Elite. Congrats omega on your promotion, youve deserved it.

Sadly, it was on the 13th January that we lost one of our most important members - Death Note - to the dark side, as he moved on to a clan with more of a PvP focus. He continues on in the clan as the Retired Legend rank, and drops by from time to time. At the time of writing, he is currently in Blacknights under the RSN Terrablazer.

The ball seriously got rolling in the mid-way point of January, when there were some more promotions - Wolfwood to minister to replace the departing Death Note, Omgausername moved to Warring coordinator, and princessterra/doomishere00 to heroes - and weekly official events were introduced. This finally gave Breakout a rigid structure from which to build upon. Member of the Month was introduced too, with the first winner being Ramen Bomb. Ace of Hearts then revamped the Official and Unofficial events system, giving unofficial events the chance to be upgraded.

We also moved on to a new banner, one which shows Breakouts true community spirit.

Torwards the end of the month we sadly lost another important member in the name of Wolfwood, after moving to World of Warcraft. May the elves and the orcs be with you.

The Second Era - Growth to Maintain

February 2009 Official Member of the Month:

February started positively, with a number of promotions; All coordinators were promoted to minister and the coordinator rank was scrapped in favour of Internal Affairs, the power of Internal Affairs was increased and a number of the parliament forums changed. However, what really set this month apart was that, for the first time ever, Breakout had two leaders - Blazing Pont and now Ramen Bomb. This was a very good choice for another leader, and it was needed due to the increasing workload of the clan. Breakout was becoming big-time.
