I am looking for a new set of headphones, as the set that came with my mp3 player is crappy, and the other set I bought has lost one of the speaker covers. I currently have a set of hanger buds by 2XL which I like but as I said one of the silicone bits has disappeared... I looked for covers but couldn't find any except the crappy foam ones.

So I'd like a nice pair of hanger buds, preferably ones that'll stand up to some abuse and last a few years (also having extra covers is a bonus). I'd rather not spend more than $20 USD, including shipping if I need to buy it off the internet.

Your recommendations?

JVC marshmallows (they are iem) or sennheiser mx300s/400s

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

I have the Sennheiser MX560, costed 20 in Germany. I know electronics are cheaper in USA... But maybe around 25$? I'm very satisfied with them, especially for it's low price.

Sennheiser all the way.

If you don't mind dropping the cash for high-end stuff the Bose in-ear headphones are pretty good.

Sennheiser.

If you can't find one you can afford, go for a Sony. They make decent low end earphones.

If you don't care for sound quality, just go and buy any old low end earphones.

If you want quality, Sennheiser CX300.

I'm about 100% sure Sennheiser is a German company. Seeing as one of it's R&D facilities and a factory are located in Germany, shouldn't Sennheiser products be cheaper there than most other countries?

^ No, I took a look and you can actually get that model for about $17 USD on amazon, and from them it's $20, which is equal/cheaper depending on the current exchange rate.

This might have gone over your head, but it was a question.

There is also a factory in New Mexico if I recall
