March 1, 200917 yr Society tells me that after a point it really just becomes gay. Society says that guys are supposed to be less emotional and touchy-feely than girls. I tend to believe society. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
March 1, 200917 yr Society tells me that after a point it really just becomes gay. Society says that guys are supposed to be less emotional and touchy-feely than girls. I tend to believe society. We men can be sensitive too. Actully, no. Society ftl. Or, ftw depending on how you look at it.
March 1, 200917 yr Here we give a hug to a guy when we havn'st see it in a long time, but most teenagers/homophobes won't do it. Sometimes we kiss other guys on New Years Eve or their birthday. I don't mind, heck, i always participate in the "Free Hug Day" every month, we are given a shirt that says "Come here and give me a Hug" and we randomly hug people on the streets. It looks weird, but i like it. (Even if pretty much all people involved are girls) My Last.fm
March 1, 200917 yr You get a little too comfortable with your sexuality when you go to a school with 1600 guys and 0 girls. It's not uncommon to see guys walking down the hall with their arms around each other, or stopping for random hugs. I do both, mostly with specific people where it's just a standard thing to do, almost like an inside joke. It gets a little weird when you see people lying on the floor with their heads propped on each other when you watch a movie in class though.
March 1, 200917 yr i constantly emotionally crash to any of my male friends without warning, who cares
March 1, 200917 yr I hug all of my friends regardless of gender on a regular basis! I think it's important to show that you love someone, even if it is friendly man-love. If you don't fancy someone, it's not gay. The stars are matter, we're matter, but it doesn't matter.-Don Van Vliet
March 2, 200917 yr It's not gay unless you're in love with them. A lot of my friends hug other guys just to mess with them. It's quite funny sometimes. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3
March 2, 200917 yr It depends... on some of my friends "props" are the best thing you can do. You're asking for a beating if you even make a hugging motion. Others are alright. I'll give them a semi-hug? I don't really know what you call it when you lock your left hand with a guy, shoulder tap and put the other hand around him. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
March 2, 200917 yr I forgot to edit this Or if you've read manson's book. It's not gay if you don't get hard while doing it. I hug all of my friends regardless of gender on a regular basis! I think it's important to show that you love someone, even if it is friendly man-love. If you don't fancy someone, it's not gay. I've only got one friend who will actually hug me. That's my best friend. All my other friends are either huge homophobes, or girls.
March 2, 200917 yr I'll give them a semi-hug? I don't really know what you call it when you lock your left hand with a guy, shoulder tap and put the other hand around him. Man-hug. Hurrah! catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
March 2, 200917 yr I think that if you act in accordance with what other people think instead of what you feel, you are becoming a slave to the vocal minority. There's nothing gay about it. Someone got jealous one day and decided to say "that's gay" and people in their infinite need to be accepted by others thought "well I'm not gay, I'm not going to hug/be friendly with guys!" As smart as humans profess to be, we are all sheep. If one makes a move towards the wolves' den, we are all going to go along with them out of fear of being left behind. It doesn't matter *what" the matter is, the human desire for acceptance is that strong. Whether it's following a particular religion, denying said religion, or thinking that guys hugging is "gay." I could throw all sorts of anthropological, sociological, or historical analysis into this phenomenon (Kuhnes would be a good start if you were curious) but meh. Peer pressure for the lose. We are not sheep or crows, darnit. Wake up. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. March 2, 200917 yr What kinda hug? The one arm round the shoulders thing definately ain't considered gay. A proper hug is used as a joke so really not considered gay. Doomy edit: I like sheep
March 2, 200917 yr Barihawk, you make it sound like the sheep always walk towards the wolves' den. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
March 2, 200917 yr Barihawk, you make it sound like the sheep always walk towards the wolves' den. Or off a cliff, or onto a highway. Sheep are dumb. March 3, 200917 yr For guys I think it is gay when people over the top are touchy like... it bothers me when they "hug" and are touchy... i think people overreact when it is a bear hug --> just a strong hug demonstrating toughness Emotional Hug with pat on back --> done when a mate has lost something dear to him like family member Wrestle/Football/Rugby/Contact Sports --> hate it when people think that this is "gay". it isnt... it is a sport and manly to prety much "fight" other men without "fighting" them... i dont think its gay to be on a sweaty mat wrestling other guys... its just manly.
