boelie
Hi, Call me neurotic, and I will call you right. Here's the situation: I like to keep the exact same amount xp for attack, strenght, and defence, and I fight controlled. I did dragon slayer, which caused my defence and strength to go up (as a reward) but not my attack. I tried to fix it, but now I have 75,152 xp in attack, and 75,153 in the other two. So I need a way to gain 1 xp in attack without gaining 1 xp in strength at defence at the same time (i.e. fighting controlled). A way to gain 2 xp in both strength and defence would also work. I know this is completely and utterly useless, but please help me think.

spyderownzyou
oh yes, any damage to a security guard or evil chicken will result in one xp, not seen many aggressive randoms since update though :? I need a difference between my attack and the other two that I can divide by three (each hit gives you 3 xp for the skill you're training). So if I get a difference of 6, 9, 12, 15, etc, it would work. Right? I'm not very good at math lol.

wioneo
kill a random thats pops for you See above. You could try using the defensive ranging/mage options(2xp per damage) to help you even it out somehow, but I don't know of any way to get less than 4 xp per damage in strength other than controlled. spyderownzyou
indeed, if you can raise your attack to a certain xp, should be able to raise str/def to equal if it multiple of 4 You only live twice. boelie
indeed, if you can raise your attack to a certain xp, should be able to raise str/def to equal if it multiple of 4 Let me take this a step further. Will it always work if I manage to gain an uneven amount of xp for attack?
spyderownzyou
yes it should, there is no reason why it shouldn't You only live twice. Once when you are born and once when you look death in the face. boelie
Ok, so at least I've made the matter a little less complicated for myself. I need to gain an uneven amount of xp for attack, or for both defence and strenght. Now the only question that remains is whether or not there's a way of doing so. The skill lamps wouldn't work because they always give you an even amount of xp.
spyderownzyou
train on something like guards in 1 style, til say you reach a rounded figure maybe a 100? or 10? then stop on the one style and do same with other two then go back to controlled training You only live twice. D Jay99
The level 10 thugs will give you reduced xp, under 1 xp/damage if I remember correctly. They're south east of the grand exchange, south of the fairy ring.

It doesn't solve my problem of the one xp point difference. The level 10 thugs will give you reduced xp, under 1 xp/damage if I remember correctly. They're south east of the grand exchange, south of the fairy ring. That's very interesting, why is this? I'm going to try this now.
spyderownzyou
level 10 thugs are found, Level 1-11 Wilderness & Edgeville Dungeon according to runescape wiki but it doesn't state they give reduced xp per damage, so not sure on that one :? and try using an xp lamp on one of the styles when you can then, or long range style with mage/range gives 2 def xp and 2 range or mage xp, if that helps You only live twice. D Jay99
That's very interesting, why is this? I'm going to try this now. Pretty sure they're infinitely aggressive, they give reduced xp so people can't just afk there.
boelie
I went to the wilderness where they're supposed to be but they weren't there. I also went south of the fairy ring where they're supposed to be but there were only outlaws. Were they taken out of the game or something?
