March 13, 200917 yr I've never fought a ranger who used bolts in pvp worlds tbh. I'd recommend crystal bow if you have or msb with addy/rune arrows. Maybe someone who has used bolts will be able to give better advice, though.
March 13, 200917 yr The glory bolts are the best as long as the other guy isnt wearing a dragon fire sheild, or anti-dragon fire sheild, or has drank a antifire potion.(hits 60+) The onyx bolts dont really leach all that much to make a difference in a pvp fight. They good for dualing or fight caves or places where you cant recover health. http://www.clanhavok.net/

Duel arena, clan wars, fight pits, etc. broad bolts are cheap and hit pretty well, imo the best choice for soul wars/castle wars and stuff. Diamond (e) 's armour piercing special is really nice, if you got enough money these would be my choice... I've never fought a ranger who used bolts in pvp worlds tbh. Most rangers use bolts in pvp...
March 13, 200917 yr As others have said numberz, broad bolts are the most popular bolts for general pvping for its cost-effectiveness. You can use diamond bolts (e) if you are rich enough, I sometimes use sapphire mithril (e) to drain prayer, but the special is pretty unreliable. Basically, use broad bolts. March 13, 200917 yr Be specific? PvP could mean a lot of things. For worlds or BH dragon/diamond, for CW use crystal, for Soul Wars broad or diamond. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
