LatinII Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 God, I hate it that when I'm in the middle of a Clan War, my client starts to freeze every 10 seconds because of some stupid animated advert at the top (I'm F2P). I can't play while that advert is being displayed, and that advert has been there for like the whole day now. They seem to last an eternity. :? It used to lag me out when on clan trips, or when solo pking. If static ads were there, it would be no prob, but once the Zwinky ads appeared, I had to take aciton. Some of the adverts are EXTREMELY HEAVY, I bet even a computer with high specs would suffer at least some level of lag from them. Mine doesn't. $1050. Core 2 Duo OCed to 3.66, GTX 260 OCed, 8 GB OCZ Reaper @ 1066 Mhz, and I don't lag a bit. It's a 1000 dollar 6 month old computer, nothing close to top of the line. Which will basically ruin any site you don't specifically allow, leading you to simply 'allow all', and ruining any safety features.
