-o-

The secret is that thier is no secret.

It just takes dedication, inspiration, and most of all, you have to WANT to do it, not just for the money. Anymore, I just do it because its what I love to do.

Its not for everybody, a few of my friends have tried, then give up. You have to want this skill to become good at it and excel then you start making money if thats what your into

If it isn't in your veins, you'll never know.

yeah i agree with roal, some people see the money on the topics and think woah i hate making sigs but ill enter neway

after a while it gets boring, i personally enjoy making the sigs, and if i mke a profit its a bonus

The secret is that thier is no secret.

Actually there is.

The modern drawing programs are so easy to use, that it isnt hard for anyone to use em, but the secret is, that you have to have good eye for art. So you know which line looks good in some place etc.

Some ppl have this, some ppl not (including me).

Well, you dont actually learn to make siggies there, its a kind of wrong discription..Its just a graphic forum..

tonberry1, I would call that a real secret, thats more of a gift, But yes, having that gift is quite handy indeed..

Like Royal and Neo said, its mostly for fun, at least it is for me..

I actually already working on it to make this hobby of mine, my job..

I stopped taking rs cash for siggies for a while now, as I dont even play rs anymore

So, when I make siggies, its jsut because I like to do it..

I wanted to work on sigs, and i want to work on graphic design when i grow up. You have to have fun, try new things, and work your eye to see what you can do to make things better. All i need for a good days work is that someone is happy with the sig i made for them.

nice do it all summer make like 70mil

YOu make it sound as if are life Is dedicated to making sigs lol...

Dude its a side line thing... no one takes it that seriously. The best sig makers here rarely post and dont play runescape..

btw.. your sig says bye , it should say 'by'.. anyways how old are you?

I'm not that great at making sigs but I do it for the learning experience and fun. Also when I was able to do a batman style sig and learned how to cell shade because lemmings86 was kind enough to teach me how I jumped for joy. As I love to draw and I do it constantly, besides play guitar in a band, its a passion for me. I think I'm going to put sig or graphics design on a hault for a little while though do to new people entering my life, well a new person. Though she is a great inspiration to me.... And when I did that kirby sig oh god that was a thrill to get such good replies from it. Though it'll be a long while and a couple hundred gallons of Orange Juice before I become a madly insane sig maker like neo... lol and if you're wondering why i said o.j. its because I don't drink pop. Anyways for those who really want to get into sig making its gonna take more then a week to get good at it, you're gonna have to want to be good. I remember a couple of nights where I stayed up till 5 in the morning working on one sig... lol and it wasn't a night wasted to be honest... even though my idea didn't work, i still got inspiration from my failed experiment.... You could say it was a negative success.

I think I sold maybe 7, 8 sigs total...maybe 10 by the time it was done because some insisted.

Did make 500 k each on a couple though.

I used to do it for the love too. Now I would love to do it for that reason, but get too bored. I used to actually be timely and do just what the customer wanted to as well...not anymore.

Now I am fickle and do it when I feel like it, on my terms. And while I learned a lot from it, I still like major works much better.
