Generally when playing, I'm watching a movie or listening to something at the same time & if not for that, I probably wouldn't bother playing RS at all. I believe these skills are meant for this, not necessarity to make you do it, but simply to give players a little break from focussing all the time. With this I do not mean other games, but merely forums, msn or other attention taking programs/things. As some would open another world and train their newbie, so me this also is not bad, as it isn't technically against the RuneScape rules. When doing something that should actually have your attention, it would be bad.
