So I've finally decided that I should get one but need a few questions answered before I start.

 

 

 

1. What is the best minigame to play to get the tokens required to get into the Cyclops room?

 

 

 

2. If I kill Animated Armour for the tokens which armour would be most worthwhile to kill at my level for maximum speed and efficiency?

Animated. I would say mithril or adamant.

If you've done As a First Resort, the infinite run spa can get you a good amount of tokens at the shotput arena.

mithril armor...level 92 and drops 25 tokens at a time

Definitely not adamant armour.

 

 

 

You can test mithril vs black, but I personally see black as faster (my stats are a bit lower than yours).

 

 

 

And even with unlimited run, I'm pretty sure that shotput is still much slower.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've decided on using Mithril Armour and it seems to be pretty fast to me. Hopefully I can get the defender fairly quickly. :)

Another quick question, about how many tokens should I get? I was thinking about 1300, enough for 1 hour including going in and out.

well it matters what level you are and how strong you are, when i got rune defender i used steel because it was really easy to kill, but i would use mithril if your lvl90+

If I remember correctly, I used around 2.3k, and was pretty unlucky. Start with around 1000 tokens, then go in ~200 token increments after that (it only takes a few seconds to get from earning tokens to spending them, so you'll waste less time if you don't earn too many extra tokens).

I used rune armour.

 

You lose a piece maybe 1:200 tries?

Believe it or not, this is (or was when I played about a year + ago) my favorite most secretive training spot, I got very good exp, and more then decent drops from the cyclops's.
