Returned3
Something tells me that they should've stopped pouring water down her throat when she was struggling to gasp for air. This is strange, very strange. If I was in that position, I'd shove the spoon up their [bleep] before they could shove it down my throat. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! Furah
Something tells me that they should've stopped pouring water down her throat when she was struggling to gasp for air. This is strange, very strange. If I was in that position, I'd shove the spoon up their [bleep] before they could shove it down my throat. The problem is that she would have started thrashing around to try and escape from it, and the people may have believed it was the demon 'coming' out of her. I find what they did barbaric and disgusting, none of the family tried stopping it? They need to have a good, long think about what they did. Disgusting. It looks like she was a member of a cult.. They didn't think they were killing her, they thought they were helping her to a great extent. I'm not trying to make excuses for what they did, just saying. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

It's too scary :( lol same here, but now it just seems stupid. there is nothing supernatural, NOTHING. its time people realized that. back on topic, isnt that what the manslaughter charge is? actions that are so reckless and dangerous that resulted in a person's death? Lol I remember one episode of "A Haunting" where this girl was possessed and her parents called a Priest. They held her down onto a chair and whenever holy water was thrown onto her, it felt as if it was acid. Good show and definitely a more realisitc/civilised exorcism than drowning someone from lung to throat. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! IeatWindex
It's a tragic and completely appalling story. They should be charged with manslaughter. The fact that they thought they were doing a good thing is no excuse. I expected an answer like that from you after seeing your posts in the "Is god real or not" thread

DaN
Frankly, I believe its for minsinformed nutjobs. Unfortunate incident really, but happens far more often in other parts of the world than one would think. As for the group being charged for manslaughter, I don't really see what's wrong with that, but all of them should really be mentally evaluated. They are obviously disturbed individuals, but that should certainly not get them a lighter sentence. However it should get them some help while behind bars. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person. Maybe something more reasonable like therapy, checking for mental illness and hopefully being able to recuperatre some of them into society; oh hell, lets just kill people for the sake of it thats better Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
