I'm thinking of trying to catch a big shark for my house and am curious as to how hard they are to catch. Does it normally take long? =P~

Yes.

 

 

 

As usual, all depends on luck, but I heard people saying they got one after 100 normal ones (the lucky b*stards), and some claiming not having one after several thousands.

I've heard some people say that from 76 to like mid 80's in Fishing sharks, not one big shark. Give it a try but it's unlikely you'll get one when actually trying :P

i got one at level 80 catching from 76

Ive had 5 so far going from 76> 82

In my entire experience of shark fishing, I've only gotten one big shark.

 

 

 

Of course, I stopped fishing sharks afterwards because I only fish for trophies now LOL. Flyfishing/barbarian flyfishing is way faster and food is cheap to buy in the GE.

I lucked out and got one the first day after the update. However I've fished a few thousand sharks since then and haven't got one since.

Probably when construction came out.

 

 

 

I know of people who don't bother with construction so they end up cooking the Big Sharks they caught like normal. This one fisherman told me he cooked around 20 of them in his p00ning lifespan.

76-89 I've caught 7.

 

 

 

Alched 2 of them for fun lol, goodluck getting one.

76-94 none. but ofcourse 74-86 was a combo of RSC and early RS2

 

 

 

I have fished about 2.3k or so sharks, not one.

Caught 3 within a few hundred, caught another 2 while fishing 10k sharks. So its pretty random.
