Radio Host Michael Savage Banned From England

Featured Replies

Oh, I wasn't really being serious. I was just mocking his point about:

Yes he has a temper, but considering all the crap he has had to deal with in his life, he's entitled too it.

Oh [cabbage], right.

Yeah, its not really an excuse.

However, if the guy is saying all this [cabbage], then how does he still have a frigggin' job?

He's not bad - as a right wing conservative radio host he does say some strange things, but taken as a whole most of his shows are entertaining and informative radio from a conservative perspective, similar to Rush. He has a job because like every other popular entertainer, he has plenty of fans - something like 10 million regular listeners.

As entertaining as his views are, he brushes me off as being a bit extreme.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

From what I heard in the youtube videos of him the guy sounds like a total jackass. He should perhaps be banned from America as well.

I'm starting to think that this forum is where all liberals go to be born.

As a liberal Christian, I would honestly love to talk religion with you

As for the topic at hand...

He seems a bit... Intolerant, but it's not as if he's calling for a violent overthrow of the English government, is he? Unless I'm missing something. I have never heard one of his shows (only read that one link a couple pages back) and know nothing about laws in the UK, so...

Why? I know tons of jackasses, should they all be deported?

No, just because someone is a pompous [wagon] does not mean they need to be banned/deported from a country.

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

Magekillr, can you please stop using the term 'Bigot' when referencing to anybody who disagrees with your views? Whether they are right or wrong, insulting language does not help any argument. It's better to say why they are wrong than to merely insult them and conclude therefore that they should be ignored, otherwise others will make the same argument against you.

Without reading 5 pages, how the [bleep] have you lot talked about this minor issue for so long?

Sure, it's minor, but it's symptomatic.

Anyway, I just read this and I think it's appaling that he was banned. He is intolerant, but so what? Why should he have to see homosexuals as equals and deny the detriminal affects of immigration to enter a country (to mention two of his intolerancies)? I read a Wikipedia summary of his views, and only his stance on homosexuality seemed radicaly intolerant. I support gay marriage, but the fact is that homosexuality can not, no matter what people say, ever even begin to be on par with heterosexuality, so I can see his point even there.

Basicaly, this makes me sick. Why don't the government just outlaw the BNP and have done with it? I'm begining to wonder whether my personal views aren't seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred which might lead to a lower number of parliamentary seats for the Labour Party.

Yes, you could be inspired to racism and hatred by his views, but the fact is that all of his views are based on fact, not prejudice, and I imagine (I can't say for sure) that he only wants to make America a better place. Perhaps I would sympathize if he were a neo-Nazi, but he's not even close.

Absolutely disgusted.

If absolute power corrupts absolutely, where does that leave God?
