May 8, 200917 yr Today I was skilling and something disturbing happened to me. A level 95 player (who I know the name of) started taking my xp (rock crabs) and when I asked politely to stop she just ignored me and kept it up. I admit I got annoyed and called her a stupid cow. Then I Hopped worlds so as not to get into any more trouble. Gosh darn it, she followed me - from w60 to w112!! And kept up the same thing. I guess she had added me to follow and harrass, and maybe I am overdoing it, but that is pretty off behaviour. I have tried to find a way to report it but there seems to be no way to do it. I let most things go but this is almost like stalking and freaked me out a bit. I have turned my friends and private to off, but that isn't fair either as I have other friends on here who I chat to etc. Can someone please let me know how I can report this to Jagex or what else I can do.
May 8, 200917 yr Add her into your ignore list, and put your Private on, she won't be able to see what World your on. Divine Forces | #DF on irc.seersirc.net | Most Motivated | http://rs-df.com/forums
May 8, 200917 yr Yeah, the best route is ignore list. Since she did not type anything, you can't really report her. Runescape, Funorb, "Mechscape" Videoshttp://www.youtube.com/user/TOMCATLX
May 8, 200917 yr If you get followed by someone, they have no life and get a kick out of being an idiot - they probably get the [cabbage] beat out of them at school. So remember that, and put your Private on 'Friends' so they cant add you and stalk you. I dont need a siggy no moar.
May 8, 200917 yr Whoa whoa whoa, let's not be rash now. I really dislike it when people make the generalization that people are "no lifers" or "get picked on at school" for anyone who does something that is annoying or immature, be it harassing you at the RCs, or running in FoG (But in this case, I think it's totally legitimate : . In fact, the people who insult me like that are really quite the immature ones themselves) Like I said, these people are simply immature and can't come to handle with etiquette. Ignore list, hop worlds, or maybe even find something else to train on  Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
May 8, 200917 yr What? It's not hard to say that someone who goes so far to annoy someone like that on a game has no life, and probably is either a very quiet person at school because they have trouble making friends. :) I dont need a siggy no moar.

May 8, 200917 yr Whatever this forum is getting lame edit: you want me to say they have a life, everyone in their class is their friend because they play a game and are so cocky about it they have to follow someone to show off like the pathetic nerd they are? that doesnt match I dont need a siggy no moar.
May 8, 200917 yr lets stick to the question how he can "safe" himself from this other player and do not discuss things that we dont know or are not asked by the question. Sorry for my bad english
May 8, 200917 yr I'm surprised no one said put Private to "Friends". May 8, 200917 yr Ignore and put fento 'friends'. Ignoreing dosen't prevent people from messaging you, therfore it also does not hide your world. You will need to turn private to something other than on to hide your world.
May 8, 200917 yr yeah thats pretty odd. but the easiest route is like what everybody said. add them to your ignore list; and friends to private. and that should get rid of your runescape stalker haha. May 8, 200917 yr As everyone else has said, add them to your ignore list, and unless you said anything offensive, you cannot report her Click my signature for my blog!
May 9, 200917 yr Author Thanks everyone for your help. I have my private chat on friends and have added her to my ignore list. What freaked me out is that someone would even bother to follow another player to another world to harrass them/take their XP etc. I just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else - especially a kid, even if the perpetrator is a kid themselves that is just wierd behaviour. I didn't say anything reportable - just 'stupid cow'. Maybe she has done this before, and as it isn't a reportable offense, has gotten away with it. I may try and contact jagex somehow and ask them to consider it. Cyber stalking/harrassment is a big concern, and if that sort of thing happens in a game, god knows what else that person may be doing.
May 9, 200917 yr That's not stalking or harrassment, just being a jerk lol... and you'll come to get used to it.

It's not hard to say that someone who goes so far to annoy someone like that on a game has no life, and probably is either a very quiet person at school because they have trouble making friends. :) Your assumptions are based on nothing. you're seriously starting to get annoying. its futile to report her but you can turn private to friends (which you always should no matter where you go) and put her on ignore. [hide=]OR if you want to do it the hard way, try to harass her back by stealing the crabs and you CAN report her if she manages to break rule 1.[/hide]
