What to do while alching?

Featured Replies

I know.

ditch the alchs

burst rock lobs.

the time you save use it on money making to break even on mage xp/hours

with HP and charms as an added bonus.

EDIT: if you insist on alching setup mousekeys, theres a guide floating around on it and use that

while watching youtube, a movie, listening to music, etc.

^Good Idea

But to answer the question the obvious is to listen to music. If your monitor is big enough you could split screen and watch vids too (Southparkstudios.com is the shiz  ), or if you have a laptop you could watch tv. Maybe talk with friends on the phone? I think texting would take up too much attention. Just some suggestions.

I'm just curious... Why the heck would you need mousekeys?

Move the noted item into the spot right under the spell, click the spell, click the item, repeat.

You don't have to move the mouse at all.

still need to touch the mouse. It's easier if you just press "5" all the time. I havent done it though.

Er...

You need to time it, so you can't just continuously press 5. Whether it's a button, or another button shouldn't make a difference.

I don't get it? :?

I like to mine rune in the hero's mine. :D However that option isn't really open for everyone I guess. :P Maybe try and think of something along that line though. Something that is easy to get but people generally don't because it's boring or takes forever. Could mine addy? Their respawn time is long enough that alching is definitely a viable option. I know there are things that I've thought of before that would be great for doing while alching, but I can't think of them right now! >.

Alch while in a bandos massacre.

You have to actually fight when the monsters respawn, so that your team doesn't boot you, but at least you gain a profit in time.

Make sure you're in a deserted hotspot, or non-hotspot in PvP worlds and gain drop potential while alching. Watch a movie on http://www.watch-movies-links.net/ or something and you won't be too bored.
