Guthan Helms - Why?

Why is the helm kept over guthan spear on death but worth 1m more than it? If anyone was wanting the helm on it's own torags would be better (and a lot cheaper), and if they were using the full set they would keep the helm and lose the spear.

 

 

 

Is it due to PVP dropping more spears than helms or something? Can someone explain?

Let me explain it this way.

 

 

 

When RS2 was released all the items in game where given 2 coin values; high alch and low alch values.

 

They used the high alch value for the kept on death items.

 

 

 

This has never changed.

 

 

 

Spear has always been lost in the guthans set which is why it costs more then other parts.

 

 

 

Remember the high/low alch values never change only the players given value for the item.

WTF, I've pretty much explained the kept on death items as much as possible. Which if you read it its what most people would guess was the question.

This is to do with the set effect nothing more same goes for Dharocks

It depends on the items coming from barrows.

 

People normally buy the more expensive sets in parts. The helm, skirt and body are all useful on there own. The melee weapons are pointless on there own hence why they are the cheaper items.
