crimson charms

Featured Replies

i need a good way to get crimson charms whats a good monster to kill

Waterfiends, dust devils, black demons, and I recently started killing nechryaels and found them to be pretty good droppers aswell.

99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.

Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

Granite Lobsters, Waterfiends, Black Demons, Dust Devils, etc.

im not very ready to kill them and my slayer is only 51 haha anything easier to kill?

ok maybe il try them. i also heard roaches are good

Roaches suck. High defense + low drop rate. Greaters win by far. Just stick in one area so the dogs can go non-aggressive. You can bring bones-to-peaches, if you want, and kill dogs for bones, but this is a waste of time in my opinion.

Caged greater demons at ogre place. You have to rane/mage. Don't forget telegrab runes.

The dogs are annoying at low levels -.- Wilderness greater demons are probably the fastest =P

i would rather deal with the dogs than revs...plus dogs stop attacking after a few minutes

Barrows:

Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,

Torag- Body, Hammers

Karil- Crossbow

Guthan- Body

Ahrim- Hood, Staff

Just think of it as a tier list.

S class - Rock lobsters, Waterfiends

A class - Scarabs, Black demons

B class -

C class -

D class -

F class - the rest

Yes, there is that much of a difference between each.

So greater demons are just as good as chickens? Thanks!

Obviously, this list is only for the known charm droppers.

One last off-topic post...

I wouldn't bother with them unless I would be cannoning also.

You can also use chinchompas on nechryael; it's something like 60 charms an hour, but it's also very cheap chinchompa-ing.

Black demons aren't so bad to melee. Their charm drop rate is very high. If you don't feel like putting up with the headaches of waterfiends or rock lobsters, black demons are probably your best bet.

They are the 3rd best monster to melee for charms, so yeah, I agree. They're good.

Tried it once and was annoyed by the death spawns blocking the nechs.

Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username?

99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/

Dagannoth in the chaos tunnels also drop a surprisingly large amount of crims (at least I was surprised). They seemed to be at least as good as greaters.

You have to pray range the whole time, but if you alch the drops it will more than pay for the potions. Pick up and sell the circular hides, boots, and gloves and you'll make a profit.
