Ezkaton Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 after doing summers end last night i fell in love with the spirit shield that i was given...... so i am now camping the tormented wraith and other things like green dragons to help me get the 3m for the elixar for the shield.... So after spending this time getting my shield to be better i was wondering.... what exactly can i use it on? I mean.... i'm a slayer.... rune defender is my shield of choice which could only ever be possibly replaced by a dragonfire shield..... so what can i use my spirit shield for? It does avoid hrash crush blows but guthans would be more useful. leonxb Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 I use my blessed spirit shield during 90% of my slayer tasks, but i always use range. For rangers a blessed spirit shield is a really good shield, because it gives no negative range attack bonus and because it has no competition from rune defenders, because using a defender while ranging is useless. Also, most slayer monsters use a crush attack and a blessed spirit shield gives a nice +73 against crush. So for rangers it's a really good shield, but warriors can better use a dfs or a rune defender, depending on their slayer task. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well Elysian WOULD be first, except that in the end, the damage you save translate into 1-2 brews, good luck soloing Kree on that when your team mates are gone. Spectral is junk.
