With the money gained from that you could buy a DFS and have some money spare. IMO though i would not get a DFS unless you intend on using weak armour or slaying Dragons. Wachtwoord Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 This depends, would you ever use it? Do you slay dragons a lot? Do you any boss fight it would be useful? Do you any mage pvping you wanna risk it for? Etc. Next, how much money do you have already? and closely related how much would you need your current money? Are you in dire need, or are you desperate searching for stuff to waste it on? This shows it's almost near impossible to let us make the decision. Personally, I kept it, it's great for soloing almost any boss (whip + DFS beats GS at most bosses) and it's very useful to use for mage fighting (CW and duel tournaments). At this time, I also killed iron dragons and wyverns a lot for slayer and it was quite helpful there. I also use my DFS more often then my GS. Owh and one tip: what ever you do, don't use it for training the extra attack of the defender helps so much more. Since most of your dragon tasks are blocked you likely won't find a ton of use from a DFS. Although, it depends on what other combat activities you take part in. It's useful at Sara/Arma, but for Bandos, Rune defender/GS is superior due to it's higher damage output. If you do Sara a lot it could be useful. Spend the money on summoning. After you complete the "Smoking Kills" quest you can choose to use your points to cancel or block a current task. I believe up to 4 tasks can be blocked for 100 points each. AGS is brilliat for Slayer tbh. Sure SGS restores Prayer and HP but i found the hits really bad.
