Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I'm at a stop...I have to come up with 15 questions I would ask to a person who was at the Dachau Concentration Camp. I've asked all of the obvious ones, and I need 6 more, but I can't come up with anything. I need to come up with a 2-3 sentence answer to the question as well. These are the question I already have. Please do not comment on ym current questions. It's just to show which i already have..

Where was the concentration camp located?

What kinds of people where at the camp?

How many people where there, and what percent of them were German?

How big was the concentration camp?

Besides holding prisoners, what was Dachau?

What happened to those that were deemed too weak too work?

What kinds of work did the prisoners do?

When did Dachau's liberation occur?

How many people are registered prisoners?

What are subcamps? How many were there and what happened in them?

Thanks in advance

Most of your questions seem really stupid.

You don't interview someone to get information you could have easily gotten off a google search; you ask them their feelings, opinions and perceptions of things. You ask them about their experiences, their story, etc.

I really dont care. She didnt ask for anything in depth. It's a small 25 point end of the year project. it's for german Class not history, it just has to be written in german, she doesnt care about the content.

What was the food there like?

How did you get there?

How old were you when you entered the camp?

How old were you when you left?

What kept you going, why didn't you just give up?

What the hell kind of questions are those? A prisoner wouldn't know that. Hell, I don't know if anybody that survived Dachau is even alive today.

You need to get feelings and junk bro. Why they think what happened, happened. Their story. You could get the whole thing in one question: Would you be willing to tell me, well, everything?

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

It's for his German class not his history class and he doesn't need an answer, just a bunch of questions written in German.

So a question could be "Did they give you cake?" and probably still be legitimate.

I'll start by answering the questions.

Where was the concentration camp located?

Dachau, germany, established in 1933

What kinds of people where at the camp?

Dachau was the first political prisoner camp, and served as an example for all camps established afterward. There was little to no discrimination to who was thrown in this camp.

How many people w(h)ere there, and what percent of them were German?

Poor records were kept, it is difficult to know. 32000 were recovered at liberation.

How big was the concentration camp?

[hide="map"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File]

Besides holding prisoners, what was Dachau?

Dachau included other SS facilities beside the concentration campa leader school of the economic and civil service, the medical school of the SS, etc.

What happened to those that were deemed too weak too work?

They were killed in mass graves.

What kinds of work did the prisoners do?

Mindless labor, and more cinisterly, they dug their own graves, and were thrown into them after being shot.

When did Dachau's liberation occur?

April 29, 1945

How many people are registered prisoners?

What are subcamps? How many were there and what happened in them?

and many more can be found in a matter of seconds using wikipedia.

You obviously don't care about the fact that going to Dachau is one of the most horrifying experiences ever, and probably something most wouldn't talk about. But for the sake of curiousity...

How many guards were on duty?

Of all the staff members, how many were armed?

Were there any female guards?

Did anyone you know try to excape?

Did anyone in your family manage to avoid the camps?

How long were you held captive?

Did you ever lose hope?

and so forth...there are some bery obvious ones, but they're very insensitive.
