Well that's good. No fun when they're annoyed at you, especially in the holidays when there's so much time to be together.

You know it.

I quit my job a couple of weeks ago, so maybe I'm a bit over-excited about the amount of time I have.

Do you have a job?

Nah. Too lazy.

And with that, I leave. Still tired from last night.

Hah. I decided to get rid of mine so I could really focus on school this year.

I went way better than expected in my half-yearly exams so it seems I've done the right thing. Topped my grade in everything but English.

Edit: Oh, ok. Catch ya another time.

My face when I see I have 152 thumbs up in a video and 101 in another one.

Also, question for the /fg/.

If you could choose, would you rather have a daughter or a son?

son

because this:

I think a son. Simply because I don't relate well to girls/girly stuff. And once she gets older she'll be all hormonal and [bleep]y. And god forbid if she's a [5 dolla make you holla] my overprotective mode would only make it worse.

But then again I wouldn't raise my daughter in such a fashion that she'd become a [town bike].

HYPOTHETICAL TIME!!!!!!!

A massive solar flare has just hit the Earth, knocking out the power grid, and frying electronics over the entire continent.

What skills/knowledge do you have to survive?

I can make bread in RL, I know the basics of firemaking, and I can kill people if need be in order to get food.

What is your plan?

Because my mom is weird, there is lots of food in our house... we can probably last a few weeks if we ration ourselves. my plan is to wait until the looting and shooting dies down as everyone freaks out and they set up a barter/trade system.

What things/ people would you take with you if you plan on moving?

my cat. some library books I'd steal. some pen and paper to write down my last thoughts. a bit of food. some seeds, and a weapon of some sorts.

my cat does that too!

My knee hurts like hell and I have a cut close to the eye on the side of my nose.

What skills/knowledge do you have to survive?

I'm good at diverting attention, garnering pity, and seeming intimidating. Basically, not making people want to kill me. I have a practical knowledge of a crapload of stuff, and my house is chock full of books on flora, fauna, cooking, and pretty much everything else.

What is your plan?

Pack several of my many backpacks with canned foods, small hard candies, thermoses of water and honey, caffein, painkillers and other medication, seeds, bleach, batteries, various cooking and crafting implements, a few odds and ends, my dad's coin collection, any flammable aerosols I can find, matches, plastic rain jackets, clothing, writing implements, and jewellry. Label them, and load them in a cart or wheelbarrow with a tent. Strap on my knives and axes, grab a light jacket and scarf, and bring a few valuables. Head to my friend's house. Bring him along and any supplies/weaponry he wants to take and isn't being stupid about. Wait a few days for any conflict to die down, and head to the High School. Push cars to block the bridge. Do whatever is necessary, try to find other useful individuals. Try to find firearms ASAP.

What things/people would you take with you if you plan on moving?

See above.

good luck being able to actually fetch that without getting looted.

if you are moving around, you'd want to do so in an inconspicious fashion.
