We're at the turning point, we're it's ever so slightly cold, and you feel it, but it's warm enough not to put anything else on.

It's not my school. It's chosen at a national level based on how you do at the various tournaments you go to throughout the year. You're nominated based on how you do at the state tournament, and you get into the state tournament with districts. Basically, at all the tournaments throughout the year, he had more 1's and 2's than I had, so he went to finals more often.

Argh. I hate this.

I always wear shorts.

I normally wear shorts through out most of the winter too. But I totally destroyed a couple of them last summer and the rest are from like 3 years ago and dont fit me that well anymore.

I do. Everywhere. Except in the summer. Once school comes around that bad boy is being worn for the next 10-11 months.

I look so weird when Im wearing my sweatshirt and shorts. But I don't care.

Nope. Just normally t-shirts everywhere, unless it is truly cold, then I chuck on a hoodie, the only type of jumper I have these days.

Protip: Freshman giving barely passable speech reflects better on your school than an upper classman giving an excellent speech. "he's so young but he's still able to give a mediocre speech! Its amazing!" and so forth. so you're not being judged on the content of your speeches, bt on the circumstances as well

I know why he went. That's why he got picked for nationals over the Junior who had a better track record than he did. But that doesn't make me happy about it. And that doesn't excuse the judges at the tournaments, who don't know how old we are and thus can't judge based on that.
